Just turned our Jeep sideways on the road !!!! That's what happens when a so cal boy moves to where it snows !!!!

5 mph -- no joke -- going downhill. Brakes locked up ... e-braked it ... Jeep turned sideways and there I was --- Sliding downhill sideways with Prodigy V2's in the front seat with me .... After about 100 ft. of sliding, I came to a patch of rough gravel - non snow covered - and I stopped :)

Safe and Sound!!!! are the Prodigy V2's, and Steve's Jeep! :D

Not much you can do going downhill but let your foot off the gas and hope, haha. Has nothing to do with being used to driving in it.

Thanks Guys !!! Prodigy's are headed to the PO in about 1 hour. Normally, Joanna does this, but I will be taking to the roads once again -- And that's if our PO is even open :( Everything shuts down around here when it snows and the PO looks for any opportunity they can not to be open! Either way, we will make it there!

I'd much rather you stay safe than get my new toy to the Post Office. Just so ya know.

Everyone be safe. Glad to hear your ok Steve, I can imagine it about scared you to death.
I used to live in Ky and remember living on a hill, during snow that was a nightmare.

They are saying were in for snow here.. in Florida. OMG.
Were busy getting firewood in now. Should be amusing, no one here has seen snow in like 15 years at least lol

Agreed! Glad to hear you are ok too. Sounds about as much fun as turning your car around so you are facing oncoming traffic after making a turn arrow... But I wouldn't know anything about doing something silly like that. (No I don't even have the excuse of there being snow when my little incident occurred.)

I grew up in Cleveland, OH. They never shut down the schools for snow unless the heat went out. Fast forward to Tennessee a few years later and they close everything down if there is even a hint of snow! Try getting a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread if they are predicting snow around here. Most times we never even get it. They closed the schools here LAST NIGHT before it had even started snowing. We have maybe 1/4" out there right now and people are freaking out, lol

Glad you are alright. Nashville is hard enough to drive in without the weather making it worse! Be careful!

We very rarely get a good snow around here, so when the surrounding are get 1.5 to 2 inches everybody goes nuts. I've been driving around Nashville today and the main roads are clear. I guess the beet juice is working. The back roads, thats another story. Tonight the temperature will drop and we'll have the dreaded "black ice" to worry about.

I got free tickets to the Predators game tonight, but neither rain noor sleet nor snow shall stay this hockey fan from his appointed puck drop.

Should be fun with the Hurricanes in town. I'd say good luck to the Preds, but can't for obvious reasons. But hey, your not detroit so good luck.
