Not at all, I'm always open minded, I find others ideas can always be better than mine. I'm still fairly new to rta's so I'm learning all the time from others.
I would bag a K1 myself to get started then buy the appropriate tanks and recoiling equipment from FT... and do the NV thing without buying the NV thing.
Why are you grumpy about the NV thing? It's a great way of saving money on multiple coils where you just have to re-wick.
Instead of spending £10 for 5 coils at myepack I've spent a fiver on one coil (plus I have a free one with the tank) and I won't be spending on coils for quite some time plus they are damn good!
I've given up on the random quality of Aspire coils. Now I can just change flavour by cleaning my tank, dry burn and slipping in a new wick in the time it takes to make a cuppa.
I saw a video recently where this fella was dry burning his BVC's - please don't do that whatever you do!! [emoji23]
I worked it out yesterday, after over a year of wondering the exact same question. I shall start a new thread (not specifically NV) to get some discussion going on it.
