nautilus aspire issues

Hi all; i am new here, and relatively new to vaping. About a month ago i bought a nautilus aspire tank. during the first couple of weeks, the tank worked wonderfully. Since then, i have been running into a lot of issues. First is gurgling - ejuice spits into my mouth when i try to vape, and often times makes popping sounds, with ejuice flying out the mouthpiece like a projectile. I also have issues with flavor and cloud density. The thing smoked liek a champ when i first got it, and the flavor was phenomenal. now all i taste is a dry, burnt, unpleasant smoke, completely lacking any flavor. The amount of smoke now released is abysmal, compared to how it worked when i first got it. I have replaced the coils in the tank and i still suffer the same issue. It appears to be getting worse as each day passes.

I have read many posts on this forums, but have found no real solution. Are there any other options i may try? What should i do in this case? vaping has gotten to be very unejoyable with this tank.

I've got 3 Nautilus tanks..1 large, 2 minis. Use the BVC in both. Never had but one issue with dud coils in the old BDC coils. I just keep them cleaned, let them air dry, and keep on keeping on. I'll run the coils under some HOT water, and let them air dry, do a QUICK dry burn. I do use separate coils for different flavors. Again, never had any issues really with the Nautilus.

Thanks for the replies. The full size tank i bought came with BDC coils. So your saying the BVC coils are better? What is a good place to buy them from?

-Edit: i just saw the the aspire mini comes with BVC coils - if these coils are put into the large tank, would it have issues? I say this because on a website where i bought it from, it says the BDC coils are not compatible with the Aspire mini, so is the reverse also true - are BVC coils not compatible with the aspire full size?

I'm not so sure about the BDCs working in the Mini but I know that the BVCs will work no problem, well almost no problem, in the full size Nauti. I personally have had little to no problems with my Nautilus full size aside from a string of a few bad BDC coils, but my friend on the other hand has had pretty much nothing but problems. He had the gurgles, spitting, crap flavor and vapor production on both BDCs and BVCs, and on two occasions the tank while standing up decided to leak almost the entire contents of the tank straight out of the airhole.

It got so bad that he gave up and gave the tank to me (which is still sitting in a Ziploc bag with about 3ml of juice that leaked out) and went to dripping on an RDA because he just couldn't deal with it anymore.

Mine on the other hand has been fine and I'd taken his apart many times and checked everything compared to mine to see if maybe he was doing something wrong but I was never able to figure out why his was any different.

I would just try to give the thing a nice cleaning and put a fresh head in it and see what's what. What APV are you using to power the Nautilus and at what power level? Also, what airhole are you using? If you're using a lower setting and drawing really hard you could be flooding the atomizer and that could definitely lead to decreased vapor output and less flavor and more spitting/gurgling.

Take the glass and metal top off the tank, screw the glass to the top as hard as you can and then put it back together by screwing only the top metal piece to the bottom metal piece (dont screw it together with the glass). I had this problem before and it was losing vacuum because of that. I usually have mine at the 3rd largest hole and sometimes i put my finger over the hole with a good pull to get a little extra juice to flow

BVC coils work just fine in the full sized Nautilus. Make sure all of your gaskets are in place and not damaged, as well as the top is screwed securely down to the glass and sealed well. I usually tighten the bottom down, and then grab the top and bottom and twist them together to make sure they are both sealed. Do not overtighten them, just snug enough. Good luck.
