I just had my nautilus BVC coil (authentic) stop working (in a full size authentic nautilus Clearomiser). This has never happened before, when I looked at the screen of my evic supreme it said there was a short in the atomiser. I tried unscrewing & screwing in again to see if it would come right. To no avail. Eventually I put a new coil in & everything is fine again. Is this a rare event for most people? Is the coil resurrect-able? Did I cause it? The coil is only a few days old, & they are flipping expensive. Do I just chuck it away?

I wonder if that is what I am going through, I just got an Aspire Nautilus and 4 pks of replacement coils.I have gone through 4 of them in 3 days using 1.6 coils on a 1100mAH eGo passthrough. I love everything about this tank except the short coil life I am experiencing right now..Hopefully this will be solved soon

Thats outrageous , they should last a lot longer than that .

Honestly I think its just the luck of the draw.

I've not yet had either the BVC or the BDC coils last me any less than 60 milliliters of e-liquid

I'd have to agree with some of the others I say just toss it and be done with it and hope that the next batch of coils that you buy are not duds.

I've read from far too many people saying that they bought multiple 5 packs of coils and found them all to be duds that I only buy coils by the single coil purchase the way that I look at it is I'd rather pick up a single coil when passing by the vape shop and if it turns out to be a dud I'm only out the 3 to 4 dollars compared to buying a five pack and being out 15 if the whole pack is bad since these are produced in a run I figure that if you do get some dead coils it's likely that there's going to be multiple coils in the pack if not the whole pack that turns out to be a dud so I'd rather take a chance with just one coil and pick them up when I'm passing by the vape store. Of course i lose the price reduction of buying buy the pack but since i pass by the vape shop all the time it's not a problem to stop in and pick up a coil when i need a new one but I'm also not like some folks that suggest they "need" to replace their coils after every tank because they taste less flavor. I'm just not that picky.

I agree I think the general consensus is right..I just got a bad batch.. Gonna use them until I get thru it,, I will order more soon so I won't run out.. Oh yea I am using the 1.6 BVC Aspire Nautilus Coils. I don't know if I said in post they were the new BVC's or not,, Went thru the BDC that came with tank and moved on to them.
Well it's like anything else there are duds too...
I thought it maybe something like that,as my hubby is still on his original BDC that came with his tank and we started at the same time. lol
Thanks for responses I guess both JamJarPenguin and myself see that it's not our fault....
