Vg is thicker, but my experience, there are things other than thin juice that can cause gurgle. Try taking apart everything that can come apart, use q tips or twisted tissue to soak up any liquid you can get to, gently blow through to clear any liquid in the air inlet or other spots to small to get at. Once you're sure it's as dry as you're gonna get it, put it all back together and refill. If the gurgle doesn't even pause, it might be the coil, but vg is cheap, so that's not an expensive fix to try at least. Going too thick with those little holes can less to dry hits/burnt coils though.

Possibly could still gurgle if theres not enough power to vaporise the liquid or the liquid is getting somewhere where it can be vaporised.
After refilling and putting the tank back together have the air holes closed then open up to smallest air hole and take some primer puffs.

If gurgles just turn it upside down over the sink , fire it and blow through an air hole. If problem persists then look it over again for problems.

One thing that helped me get rid of the gurgling, was how you refill the tank. When refilling, close off the airflow holes. Keep them closed until, you are done refilling, and have screwed the base back on to the tank. I saw that tip on youtube. Never had a problem since.

That sounds familiar.

When I used one, it was a power issue. It wicks really well, maybe too well. So you have to up the power to burn the juice off that it's taking on otherwise it floods out.
That's probably true that upping the power well reduce the gurgle, but be careful, it is a trade off. On my nautilus, going from 3.4 v to 3.8 v means reducing my coil life from a couple months, to about a week.
