Nautilus mini/ istick combo?

Im just getting started into vaping. Been using a Kanger Evod, pretty cheap but works good for me. I keep reading you guys and gals talk about the nautilus mini paired with an istick. Am I missing out on a better vape? I am really enjoying getting into this and I would much rather get something Im gonna enjoy for a long time than stair stepping my way up, buying a lot of stuff I will end up not being happy with in the process!

If I do order a nautilus mini and an istick, any sites recommended that sell both products at a reasonable price with good shipping deals? Thanks so much, this site is great! This vaping stuff is a little complicated for a beginner

The question shouldn't be are you missing out, but is it not working for you?

The Istick is a great little regulated mod that allows a pretty wide range of voltage/wattage for just such a tank like the mini. My wife currently has two of these mods and uses Protank 3 minis on them and loves them! I think the Nautilus would be a good match for it too.

I won the exact setup you refer to in a holiday contest one of our local shops was running for Christmas. I liked it enough to pick up the same combination for my wife. It is a nice setup to compliment our current rig's which are iPV 2S's. Check local shops and online vendors for boxing day/week sales. I paid $65cdn for the iStick and mini tank combo. The nice thing about the tank is that it is not limited to use on just the iStick.

I have exactly this combo for two month now and don´t regret it. In fact i would even recommend it to an absolute newcomer. Just make sure that you start with low Volts or Watts. Also let the head/coil soak in the liquid for at least 15 minutes. All new heads in the Nautilus have to get "vaped in" with low voltage/wattage. After the first 2 ml you can go a little bit higher and so on till you find your sweet spot.

Don´t bother with volts or watts, these are only numbers. Just run it how it suits you, it´s that easy. Personally i vape at least 4 ml with it a day and a coil lasts me three weeks easily. Of course that depends on your liquid. With my self mixed 55PG/35VG/10% H²o and mint, lemon, apple liquid i have no problems. If you use more chocolate stuff and heavy liquids the coils starts clogging a lot more early.

If you want to save the tear and wear on the 510 thread of the stick just order the bending adapter as well. It makes yout istick a bit more pocket friendly as well.

Can´t help you with links and pictures of my combo as i´m as new here as you are, haha. But have a look at the before mentioned thread and you will see it all. I never had any problems with this combo.

I have to say: if you're going to use the bending adapter to make it pocket friendly, get the Mini Nauty: was originally running a Kanger EMOW on it, and it would hit the button when folded. The Nauty doesn't

Ooooops.... and get a package of 5 spare coils as well. Otherwise you are stranded like a smoker without a lighter!

Of course the BVC ones as they give a smoother vape. May be you can get a mixture between 1,6 and 1,8 Ohm coils for your own experiments. I prefer the 1,8 Ohm ones vaping between 8-12 Watts. Depending on the liquid. With these you can go up to 14 Watts. In my experience going higher results in getting a burning taste. Others go happily beyond so it´s completely up to your personal taste.

Nautilus coils can be rebuilt. They're a lil more complex than Kangers, but very doable

I run both. And all my Kangers are now running as BVCs

I stick with a Nautalis Mini will be a great set-up... I've had my I stick 4 a few months now and the Nautalis is a great atty as long as you prime it right

Well I got the combo a few hours ago.... my oh my what I was missing! Puffed on it a few times and got that old light headed, satisfied feeling I used to get after going all day without a cigarette. Im a happy camper for now, and I know I have the set up that will help me quit.
