Was getting a slight burnt flavour off of my first coil on my nautilus mini, so decided to change it out with the second one that came in the box. Went to take my first hit off of it and inhaled what I can only describe as the worst toxic taste I've ever had in my mouth, not sure how to describe it but it's sort of metallic, I initially thought it was the battery but have since gone back to the old coil and it works fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like it wasn't wicking properly and you got a huge dry hit. you may try re installing it and drawing on it a few times with out power to draw the juice into the head if that doesn't work it may just be a bad head.
Did you prime it? When you install the coil put 3 or 4 drops right down the chimney. Once you put the tank back together, take a few dry pulls and you should be good to go.
Yah the thing is a mini cartomizer.. Put a few drips around the inside of the head. not down the center hole but where the mesh is and let it seep in. You really shouldn't have to let it sit for 20 minutes, honestly it's only a little bit of wicking material.
