Odd that a new coil did not liven up the flavor. I find that new or 'clean' coils can work well enough for me at a mere 6w but as they get gunked up I need to bump the power up to get the same results.
Then there are times where I may 'dry inhale' a few times without firing it (to make sure it is well primed) and then hit it with 10-12W for a few puffs. Afterwards I can then turn it back down to 6w.
I try to rotate a few very different flavors in attempts to keep my pallet fresh. To much of the same flavor tends to grow weaker towards an empty tank.
It does taste much better, actually it might even be (mostly) operational now. Only thing is that I have to keep the voltage or wattage slightly higher than I used to, for decent flavour. I'm going to try what you said, usually I do dry pulls when changing a coil, but I forgot to this time. I also think I should try other juices. Maybe some with a stronger flavour to see if maybe the other juices I tried in it recently just weren't cutting it in the flavour department. Could always be that as well.
