I am rather new to vaping been smoking for 16 years as of today 8 days no cigs. I am using a nautilus mini with a 20w istick and today I had a very burnt taste with it . I figured it was my coil going out but being at work I was stuck here till I get off so was just going to vape when I really felt the urge to smoke. So after about 3hrs the burnt taste went away and everything is back to glorious vaping. So my question is what caused this and how can I avoid this in the future.

Thanks

This is a great set up, I have the same kit. Haven't had any problems with a burnt taste, however it is possible that you might have been close to .5ml of fluid and depending on the angle that you were holding the mod when taking a hit could have caused it to be a "dry" one. I have been using this kit for the last 8 weeks and have just recently quit smoking after 27 years...as soon as I started using this set up, I haven't had a cigarette.
Also, I have been able to get a whole month of use on one bvc...but since changing it out I have found that I am going through them more...maybe a bad batch from factory, who knows.

AWESOME SETUP!!!!!!!! I have it too, and the wick probably had not properly soaked up the E-Juice yet. They recommend letting the juice soak in the tank for 2 mins before vaping whenever you change coil. Also I agree with Isobel Black, I'm still using the same Atomizer a month later. The recommend you change the coil is you start getting burnt taste all the time and/or if you think your flavor is not as good as it use to be.

PS, if you want to change flavours, rinse the tank and fill with water and vape the water till you can no longer/don't taste the previous flavour anymore. That then you can dump the water and add the new flavour you want.
