Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I started vaping with the original Nautilus and love it. The mini like you said seems to be a much improved version with the BVC. I plan on ordering some coils and replacing the normal boring ones that it came with. I say definitely go with the mini. The original hasn't failed me yet, so the much improved mini has to be a damn good buy. Especially for what 30 bucks?

Since the BVC's work perfect in the original Nautilus i would consider going with that one over the mini , you get more for your money and it's a little cheaper. Big tank that last at least a day . Thirty bucks isn't cheap to me , thats a lot for a tank that you will (at this time) be buying head's for (that are not cheap).

The Mini is a big game changer over the original.... My wife loves it!! I can't put my FEV v3 down other wise I would have one as well ..... I threw both the originals away ....what a disappointment they were!!

Holy cow , threw them away , my God , oh well.

Too bad... the BVC heads fit the original Nautilus tanks...

Yup , and they work well but i have noticed need break in time .

I have the mini and the regular. The BVC coils are miles ahead of the BDC coils. I have one in for a week. I washed it in hot water, blew it dry, and let it air dry for a week (probably overkill). I re-installed it a few days ago and it is vaping like a champ.

I would not dry burn these. I tried it and it smelled burnt. My short experience says a wash in hot water and a dry is enough to give them a second life.

Only got mine this morning but will try this when it goes

I put this in another thread but I seriously need some help. Got the mini Nauty about a week ago. I've already gone through several coils (ordered replacements at the same time). When I use the BVC on the full sized Nauty, I have to change the coil after one tank. Running 50-50 3mg nic 1.8 coil on a ProVari Mini at 3.8 to 4 volts. After 2 tanks on the mini or 1 on the full sized, start losing flavor. If I up the voltage I get a burnt taste. Tried rinsing and drying the coils but they still tasted weak and slightly burnt. What am I doing wrong? I really don't want to go to RBAs to fully enjoy a vape without spending a small fortune on coils. When these work though, they are awesome!

I normally use RBAs and RDAs, but I got both the Nautilus as Ind the BVC coils on Monday. I have been through several tanks so far and I love these. I personally haven't tried to clean a head. If I want a new flavor, I just pick something similar to what I had in it before, i.e. lemon flavors. Zero issues so far. I got the coils from My Vapor Store.

For me, the mini wouldn't cut it as I would be filling it too much,. I do want to purchase a 2nd full-sized one, however.

Catmomto I'm not entirely sure what's going wrong with yours but I have exactly the same set up as you and I'm still on my first coil and it's been 10 days using 2-4 mil a day. Have you checked to make sure they are authentic? As a day seems very low indeed.

Ps I vape my provari at 3.9-4-2 on 80pg/20vg 8mg nic
