not a veteran by any means here, but what flavor juice did you use? Some type of cinnamon or citrus fruit? What type of tank?

Cinnamon and citrus fruit flavors are known to break down (crack or degrade) polycarbonate tanks ...

I am on a mission to only use glass tanks, simply to avoid worrying about my juice affecting my tanks in any way.

You can search ECF or google for Juice flavors that break down tanks and get a long list of "un-safe" juices.

Well, it all depends on how the tank broke. Yes, there are tank cracking liquids... but, for instance I have yet to crack a tank (even with clove juice) but, I dropped mine and sure enough it broke. (though, I'm fortunate, it seated well and I can still use it without leaks, amazingly enough and it's just a cheapy C4 clearamizer.)

That said, yes, it's a great idea to have a spare battery and a spare tank. (Even a spare charger.) It can keep you from having to be out and waiting ... potentially going to purchase a pack of analogs while you're waiting.

However, yes, if you smoke pinapple, clove, etc they are notorious tank crack type liquids and then you should look into metal or glass tanks.

Keep with it, don't get discouraged.

My own personal setup includes one of the kangor pro with a pyrex. I haven't used it yet. But, I'm looking forward to it. I just hope it's less problematic than my other kangor which I have nothing but trouble with (and have heard of a few places which will not carry that specific kangor since it is so problematic. :/ They sure are a pretty tank though :)
