what exactly do like better about that one? Do both of them look okay anyways?

sorry this is my final project in lit class wanna make sure it looks good.

Ok, well this is what they convey to me: The positioning of the hand is much stronger in the first one. Like it is holding out the flower for somebody, waiting for them to take it. The bold outlining also speaks of the strength. The black around the clip gives it an almost pronounced, last ditch effort of hope that the recipient will accept the flower. But there is determination still there. I like that everything is pronounced and it looks stalwart.

The second one looks hopeless and weak. The scene appears faded which presents the bleakness that the bearer is left with. Maybe the other wouldn't accept the token and has left for good. Not saying that I don't like it.. Just that the first one speaks louder to me on an objective level. Depending on what you are trying to convey, both could serve that purpose.. But I don't know what that is

I like the top one best, but I like the color of the rose better in tge bottom one better

I see the color of the rose in the top one as dull.. But, maybe because it's not everything that the bearer sees at the moment. There is still hope in whatever it's intent is. The bottom ones color is brighter, more vivid.. But that's all the bearer sees now. Everything else is fading away or has gone.

Have you configured the outgoing message options already? Maybe they aren't set properly.. Did you try and reset your phone after everything was activated? Can you receive texts?

okay its based on teh story A rose for Emily who is a skitzophrenic whos overbearing father messed up her head when he died she refused to accept the fact and stole his body back from teh morgue the town found out and took his body back so she then proceeded to replace him by getting married killing her husband and sleeping next to that dead body for the next 50 years or so until she finally died... For all the reasons you stated pit is why i like the top one i like the dead look to the rose and the hope that is still contains, yet the empherical feeling the bottom one i think fits this story slightly better, the washed out feeling of it is better.

I am familiar with that story.. I'm a bit of a Faulkner fan.

I would say that one could make a valid argument for either of those depictions.. The choice is yours!
