Ok, well this is what they convey to me: The positioning of the hand is much stronger in the first one. Like it is holding out the flower for somebody, waiting for them to take it. The bold outlining also speaks of the strength. The black around the clip gives it an almost pronounced, last ditch effort of hope that the recipient will accept the flower. But there is determination still there. I like that everything is pronounced and it looks stalwart.
The second one looks hopeless and weak. The scene appears faded which presents the bleakness that the bearer is left with. Maybe the other wouldn't accept the token and has left for good. Not saying that I don't like it.. Just that the first one speaks louder to me on an objective level. Depending on what you are trying to convey, both could serve that purpose.. But I don't know what that is
