Dunno how interested I am in the IGO-L.. If I get another rda, I have looked at that and the A7. Haven't really decided on one..Already have the Phoenix (an A7 without all the SS)..Maybe, lol. Sugar substitutes are really a marketing ploy..at least where diabetics are concerned.
For me it's all about carbs. Counting carbs and adjusting insulin accordingly. I/we read the nutritional info on everything.
A lot of the products that lead you to believe they are a diet over healthier type product are comparable in carbs to anything else.
They may have less fat or sodium or whatever but the carb count is about the same.
Mama bears makes awesome banana bread and your description of being very dense and suitable for being made into muffins sounds great.
I just need her to whip up some peanut butter icing for it.
