So I think the center post on my igo-l doesn't stick out far enough on the bottom to make contact with the center plate of my zmax....and best I can tell, it's not adjustable like the aga....

That's odd...any other device laying around that you could put it on and see if its a threading problem. Not to fire up but to check the threading?
I screwed them both on an inferno, and they both sit pretty flush, the igo-l sits a hair higher. Neither will fire on the inferno...not quite sure why the aga won't fire...it's at 1.8ohms, so it shouldn't be too low for the inferno.
Of course I wiggled my finger in it while holding my tongue!
Think I need some 30 or 32...this 28 is kinda low...and the 34 nichrome coil I made popped...I'm to tired to fool with it tonight.
make sure your coils are wrapped properly on the terminals and also check to make sure that the positive pin is making contact with your PVs connector. You ay need to pull that pin down or something
