Just got home from the ER? Poor kid has slightly blurred vision, a pretty bad headache and was really tired......no physical activity for at least 2 weeks......making him stay home from school tomorrow.....poor kid, loves sports.....

Poor dude has a concussion.. I hope he gets better. I will say that I have never had a concussion that I enjoyed.. Another one of those things that nothing can really be done about

This is his second concussion......first one he had daily headaches for almost 5 months......we'll see how this one goes.....feel bad for him.

So, just because.. Did he not raise his glove when the pitcher threw him the ball? I'm just taking that from what Becky posted.. At any rate, I hope he kicks this soon and can be back to normal. Concussions while you are younger can be detrimental..

No, there was a runner that had just gotten to 1st, the ump had called time out because a bat was laying by home plate, I guess there was only a couple kids that heard him call time out. So Cordell was looking at and talking to the base runner, the pitcher didn't hear the ump call time, he looked over and saw the runner off the bag and was trying to pick him off, he threw the ball to 1st and Cordell turned right as the ball hit him, right above his left eye.
The biggest part that pisses me off is the pitcher has really sucked the last few games, he worries too much about trying to pick off the runner than he does about pitching. I've told him before to quit worrying about the runner and focus on pitching, but the kid doesn't listen....
