Is it necessary to designate one atomizer/ flavor? or is it possible to just use different cartridges? I just got my 510 today, it came with 5 prefilled cartridges. It also came with 2 empty cartridges attached to the 2 atomizers. I tried to vape my way through the first pre-filled cart so I could try some new flavors. If I just wash it out, will I be able to get a new flavor or will I have to clean the atomizers to get the flavor?
Thanks,
Zack

You can just clean or blow it out. If you blow it out, it might taste like the old flavor until you burn it off so don't judge the flavor on your first opinion. You may like it better when your atty is clean. If you do decide to clean your atty between flavors, since you are using carts and not liquid, you may notice a decrease in vapor until your atty has a chance to absorb enough liquid. That's why priming is recommended if you have any e-liquid. You need to get some e-liquid as soon as possible because those carts don't last as long as you think they will. A lot of the juice gets hung up in the bottom of the cart and it won't flow to the atty.

You can get e-liquid pretty cheap here http://www.mist-stix.com/category_s/64.htm
Put in coupon code ECF at checkout to save $6.00 plus an additional 10% off Christmas bonus! It makes a 30ml bottle $8.10 plus tax. That's really cheap and their liquids are pretty good.

Congrats on your new 510! A great model.

Some flavors mix quite well. I used cherry on top of a Marlboro for quite a while (the cherry was my high nic fix, while Marlboro was the lower nic all day vape). You may find you stick to only 3 or 4 flavors, then it is a bit easier to determine what you'll want to do, as some flavors (like coffee) don't mix as well as say fruit flavors, which can go over the top of each other.

Rather than trying to do dry burns (which will most likely give you a burned taste in your 510) EverClear Pure Grain Alcohol (PGA) can be used to rinse out flavors quickly (just blow it out afterwards, as it evaporates dry almost immediately and is good for a cleaning soak as well). Vodka can be used, but then you'll get a bit of water in the atomizer with it. Please don't use ISO Alcohol in your atomizer at any time (rule is if you won't put it in your mouth, don't put it in your atomizer).

Prehoda, I already have like 73 mL of various e-liquid so I'm straight. I have 4 tobacco flavors (two 5mL and 2 15mL) , 15mL strawberry and 15mL peach and one 3mL toffee. Thus far it's hard for me to detect a substantial difference between the tobacco flavors. It was even hard for me to detect a difference btw the peach and toffee, but I'll have plenty of time to figure that out i guess.

Eh, I plan on picking up some new atomizers.. I used a chocolate juice on one of my attys and that's basically all I can taste.. At first it was an ok mix with my mar-bro... but now it's just getting old. Afraid to clean it because I don't want to kill it :(
I've dropped mine in a shotglass of vodka several times and haven't killed it yet. I just let it soak for about 5 minutes. I've even done the Crest Pro Health cleaning. I've had them since August and have been using them daily since September. Maybe I just have awesome atomizers. Don't hold it against me if yours dies. Just remember to prime the heck out after you clean it.
