update to let you all how things are going.
Well a bad taste was so persistent just wouldn't go away so this is what I did.
I put both atomisers is in some warm water swished them about four a while then drained them off. Then blow down them. Let them dry for about 30 minutes. Then poured some liquid down and then left them for 15 minutes.
The same burning taste was still present. I thought I would try the water being a lot hotter just so you can bear putting your hands in. drained them off blow liquid etc. I tried this no different.
This is where it gets interesting.
So I put more water in a bowl with hot water again I looked on the side and there it was cussons Carex original moisturising hand wash which has antibacterial moisturiser in it the one with blue liquid . I tend to use this a lot because of teaching children also it tends to get rid of odours bacteria .etc you'll be surprised how many schools staff rooms washrooms have this. That's why I have this in my home.
So I added three squirts from the bottle mixed with water put the atomiser in swished them around a little bit then I left them to soak for about 10 minutes. Then rinse them out in another bowl of warm water not hot. Then drained them left for about 30 minutes again then blow then a few more drops of liquid standard tobacco flavour. Which I normally use to moisture atomisers left that to settle for about 15 minutes.
So I put in a new cartridge sedansa by the way not Janty I will come to that a bit later on And hey Presto the burning taste has finally gone. So whether this is some sort of fluke I don't know .but also yesterday one of our
cheaper pen styles did have that bad taste appear so I've done the same routine with this one to. The bad taste has gone from this also.
So all of to day I have been smoking both Janty classics without bad taste.
So the warning is if you try this. It's on your own responsibility regarding the outcome. Don't blame me .this as just worked out for me at present and I was that distressed and desperate I was willing to try anything as it would only cost me the price of two new atomisers .
After actually calming down from yesterday's disaster looking closely at the fittings of these which still aren't great. By wriggling them about. As if you were holding a pen and trying to break in half they do tend to straighten up. Like you wiggle a battery that does not look straight in the atomiser. But then we should not receive products like this because of quality control.
to me using the manual switch suits me better. It does seem to be a strange hassle when you first start using it to press the button to drag on the cigarette. Then after a while you do tend to get quite comfortable doing this. Miss Diane hates this and at the present she just can't get on with either switch and says she's not getting the kick out of the Janty and tells me she's quite happily satisfied using the Smokesters pen style instead. So I think we need to train her regarding this one plus side benefit by me having four batteries instead of two now. I do think by using the manual switch its more controllable and less likely to get this burning taste because it cuts off quite nicely where the auto switch on these and the sedansa are quite lively and can be set off by just putting them in your mouth and don't cut off immediately after the drag as good as the manual switch.
I think also that I have found the other strange taste and smell at present which was like painted plasticky taste but really as I said yesterday hard to explain. But this has nothing to do with the burning taste.
I have come to the conclusion that it is the Janty cartridges tobacco flavour and Marlborough aren't like anything else that I used. I normally love Marlborough cartridges and I also have had several Marlborough liquid bottles which only tend to only differ in stronger or weaker flavour that's all but don't resemble these Janty ones.
So Janty cartridges seem to be different to your average ones. The sedansa normal tobacco high-strength cartridge tastes like your normal Marlborough tastes but I have got a sedansa Marlborough cartridge which I haven't tried as yet.
One thing that I have noticed when using automatic switch. When the battery light flashes to tell you to charge .if you put on that manual switch you still have more power left is that right? But at the moment I think one of the silver batteries might have a fault it works for a short while on auto switch. But to get the rest of the milage out of this is to put on the manual switch which then works fine.
I do think by having a manual switch on all electronics cigarettes would prevent a lot of our atomisers burning out as quickly as they do. As I find that I am not putting this in my mouth as often as I would normally with my others consciously knowing that I've got to press a button first plus the atomiser this way seems to be staying a lot cooler than normal .
So in all I personally have been getting on quite well with the Janty kissbox classics. I also like the feel of these in my hand nice and light and not to bulky like some other pen styles. Battery life is to early to judge yet seems to be pretty much as average as some of the others we have sept for one of the batteries but we will have to do further investigations into that one.
So far the only down side for the Janty is in the quality control chipped atomiser strait connecting parts yucky ducky cartridge flavours oh the chocolate ain't bad but saying that my cartridges might be a bad batch.
