Need a bit of guidance here. I will try to keep it simple more for myself I think.

When I bought my Lambo 4.0 it came with NCM 18650 1800mah batteries. I have been using them in rotation charging them in a Trustfire tr001. Recently bought the smok Telescope and also was lucky to get an Omega. I never really worried too much about using the stock bats in the Lambo with all the safeties it had.

Now that I am using mech tubes with nothing more than air vents I was a little concerned so I purchased some Trustfire Li-ions 18650 and some IMR 18350 800 mah (blue).

My problem started with the Trustfires being a bit longer therefor not totally fitting into the charger. I scraped some of the covering on one batt somehow and will not use either one of them as I didn't like how they sat in the charger. I assume these are PCB adding to the length.

I am lost as to if the tr001 actually is safe for charging 18350s as some sites say yes and some dont say at all.

I have settled on purchasing 4 new AW IMR 18650 (red) in either 1600 or 2000 mah and some more 18350 700 mah (red).

Here is my questions

1. Where is the best place in Canada (Ont) if possible to purchase these? Im not overly concerned about price but I see some at 8 bucks all the way up to 17 for the same batt.

2. Do most use more than just a safe batt in their mech tubes or should I buy something more? Im thinking of the Kick anyways.

3. Would you still use the NCM 18650s that came with the Lambo but only in that alone?

Im sure I have more but dont want to scare of too many responses.

Thanks for reading

I grabbed my IMR's from here: http://www.jrcustomturning.com/Batteries-Chargers-s/1948.htm shipping was fast and prices were decent for authentic AW's, they also carry some safety precautions like the 2 cent fuse and charging bag, but that may be a bit overkill.

Also I reuse the ICR 18650's (Blue) that came with my lambo 4.0 and haven't had any issues in my mech tube as of yet.

Keep in mind that I also purchased AW IMR's as replacements and a good charger just to be on the safe side.

Thanks Frank. Looks like Im making another order. Why is it I cant find even the expensive chargers with 18350s spec'd as compatible. Or am I not looking hard enough.

Not sure but I went through the same thing, it may be because most require a spacer to charge them or the fact that they are low MAH and some chargers will charge them too quickly or overcharge them?
Maybe one of the experts can chime in on this one.

Ok I did a quick search and found a supplier (not one I have ever used). They dont have the "shopping cart" system up and running yet so you would need to order via Email.

http://www.sweetvapes.com/Pages/AWbatteriesandChargers.aspx

They have a few chargers "spec'd" for 18350's

They have... XTAR 16340/18350/15270 Li-ion Battery Charger

and... Trustfire TR-003P4 (Charges most any IMR and Li-ion battery cells including: 10430, 10440, 14500, 14670, 16340, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650

and...Ultrafire WF-188 charger (Fits most battery sizes: 10430, 10440, 14250,, 14500, 15270, CR2, 16340, RCR123A, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490/18500, 18650, 26500, 26650)

they make some Beautiful custom grip mods as well.
