Batts for mech mod

I've got plenty 18350, I shouldn't stack those in mech mod, right?
So looking into buying 18650. I've seen various MaH, as much as 5000 mah with batt from ultrafire and 3000 MaH trustfire... Should these be considered for purchase?

No, don't stack. Every case of battery thermal meltdown resulting in user injury I've seen involved stacked batteries. Not a good idea.

Get AW or Efest IMR batteries, or other "safe chemistry" batteries. Ultra-high mAh batteries aren't safe chemistry. They should say LiMN, which is the battery chemistry (lithium-manganese).

I'd go with IMR or Hybrid batts before a protected lithium ion. You can always put a vapesafe or shortstop in too. Not a fan of stacking myself.

The higher Mah batts from some makers are too large in diameter to fight some mods. Anyone got a source for low cost, good batts?

two things. in a mod you need to use high drain IMR batteries and while it's up to you if you dont use protected batteries a shortstop fuse is always a good idea.

MNKE if you plan to run low res coils...best for that is those, AW and Pans will suffice but MNKE are the best for mechs+low res

I ordered a EFEST IMR 18650 2000mAh 3.7V LI-MN nipple top for my incoming Natural today. Can't seem to find the MNKE batts in Canada yet, I'll order a few of those in 650 and 350 next month once the vape mail and my wife calm down a bit lol.

The efest batteries are not a bad battery they are the only battery i use in my mod's.I got in 3 sets of the efest 18650 2250Mah batteries and they last quite a bit longer than the 18650 2200Mah,but take almost twice as long to charge.

Cool good to know. I was gonna get the 3400 mah but someone in another thread suggested against it due to a drastic drop in voltage as it drains or something like that.

I do not know or are aware of that?? The 2000mah battery you ordered is a good battery i get about 14 hours out the 2 i have(not combined one single at a time).Getting about 18 out of the 2250's but as i posted,they are taking twice as long to charge.I almost wish i had got 3 sets of the 2000mah instead,not complaining,just hate to wait on the charge.
