Are there any 5v ego batteries ? I dont get a lot of vapor from the regular EGO batteries. They do OK but i wish for stronger vapor. I prefer a passthrough. Thank you for your feedback

You could also get a lower resistance atomizer/cartomizer and accomplish the same thing (it's the watts that make the vapor/heat), battery just won't last as long.

I also recommend the Twist. I have a 900mah from DiscountVapers and I am waiting for my second one to arrive today. They go up to 4.8 volts but are nicely regulated with a buck boost.

The other option you can look into, that has a pass through built in, is the iTaste. it is only 800mah, but with the passthrough it should do. They are more expensive than the Twist, though, and you can get them from DiscountVapers or GotVapes.

    "I prefer a passtrough"

You could try the newer ego UPGRADE, it switches to unregulated and might run 4.2 as long as it's plugged in. That, along with a LR carto should do alot better than a plain ego.

Some places sell 5v PT's also, just have to plug into a separate usb source, not computer- but that's a good idea for all PT's, and when just charging regular egos.

There's the ego twist that goes up to 4.8v (if I remember correctly). It's not a passthrough, but I can't think of anything other than that.

What type of carto/attie do you use with it?

hi, i use standard resistance cartomizers. based on above posts i am inclined to buy ecc upgrade. reading up more on it. i am going to hold out on the twist until i can buy a passthrough.

Lower resistance will make a big difference. That may be all that you need. I like the 1.7 ohm single coil smoktech cartos a lot.
I picked up a passthrough last week from Vapor 9. There's a thread around here called "$10 just for being you" (or something like that). They're giving people $10 credit just for starting an account with them. Brought the $17 passthrough down to $7 ($10 with shipping).

Got mine today from them, didn't realize it is a 808d and I only have 510. Will need to order an adapter for it. Did you get yours yet? If so,how is it?

That's not the same one that I got. I just wanted an ego (510) battery, which I found under 'vapor cannon accessories'. It doesn't say a thing about it being a passthrough on the page, so I was surprised when I got it and it was a PT. Actually, I assumed that I just missed that part, glancing over the description when I ordered. But, looking at the page again, I don't see anything about it being PT. Maybe contact them about it in case mine was a mix up?
Anyway, here's the one that I got:
Vapor Cannon Battery Selector - Vapor cannon accessories - Accessories - Our Product Catalog

It's a nice battery. I like the button light... green light when you push the button and the battery is fully charged, then later as you've used more power you get a yellow/orange light, then when near running out you get red.

Checking out the site more... under the kits section you get a fuller description of the vapor cannon. Sure enough, it is a PT.

Dang! I wish I Would have known that before ordering the passthrough I got from them. Oh well, the PT I got is nice, just need an adapter for it:)
