Need a little help picking a non punched carto for portable vaping...

Hey guys... I was talking with my step mom trying to see if there was anything that I could do to get her more vape friendly. She has an ego battery and a few cruddy plastic tanks and she hates them. She likes the ego battery but wants to just screw on regular cartos on the end and refill them herself. She said a drip tip is ok as long as its not metal ( like me she is a chewer )...

I am thinking this would be an ok set up for me as well when I am out and about riding my motorcycle.

Can anyone direct me to a good link for I guess non punched refillable cartos... how many times can I refill them? Can I replace the cottony filling?

I am looking for 5 or 10 packs... I honestly have no idea what I am looking for exactly... I used to smoke BLU cartos off of an ego battery but never thought I would want to make them DIY...

and do I want low resistance high resistance or what... just to use with an ego 650?

For a fixed voltage Ego, you want Low Resistance.

There are only three major cartomizer brands to choose from: Boge, Smoktech, and Ikenvape.

The major difference between the three are the density of the polyfill fiber within the cartomizer which will impart differences in wicking and flavor production. There seems to be an equal distribution of people's preferences for each brand. Ikenvapes are more difficult to obtain because they are in limited production and only sold from the Ikenvape website.

My favorite are the Ikenvape cartomizers and I recommend that you try the unpunched versions to use solo outside of a cartotank. I use the 510-Fusion and Platinum models in my cartotanks. IMHO, they provide the best flavor production and last longer than Boges and Smoktech comparatively.

get a HH357 atty from avidvapor.com it is metal but you can get driptips that work for chewing habbits, also you can get unpunched cartos from madvapes.com, i have a few shorty cartos that are plastic and colored from them. they work great. now ohm ratings is different, all of these attys and cartos you can buy come with different resistance, that is all up to you on what you want, for a 650 ego battery im taking it is not a twist or a variable voltage, so it is a 3.7v battery, 1.5ohm will give you a harder throat hit, 2.0 is a standard ohm which would probably be better for what you are asking, 2.5-3.0 ohm is a little on the light throat hit but it will give more flavor. It is all up to you. Good luck

EDIT: And you would want the LR 2.0 for eGos. You can get either black or stainless. The black is just the stainless wrapped in black paper stuff. You can use any normal 510 drip tip on the end if you don't like the feel of the cartomizer in your mouth.
