Recommendation Wanted: PV for non-tech savvy Analog smoker?

So, my fiance's mom expressed interest in getting a pv, but I don't think that she's really up for messing around with a bunch of technical things. Basically, I see her as being someone who'd deal with connecting a new carto, charging batteries, and other basics, but refilling would probably be a stretch, and anything else would send her running back to analogs.

She smokes enough and has enough health issues that I'm ecstatic that she's interested in an alternative. Please, y'all. Help me save her life!

The Kr808 is probably a good bet. Buying only pre-filled cartos and then tossing them will get REALLY expensive, so if you can talk her into trying refilling, I have an easy way of doing that.

Drip into the bottom hole in the connector. When you drip a drop onto the hole, it will get sucked inside. What I did when I used cartos was 3 drops, shake shake, 3 drops, shake shake, 3 drops, shake shake.

Takes all of 10 seconds, and doesn't get any easier. For filling a blank, though, she will want to do a few more drops than that obviously.

Mistress said what i was about to.. the 808 sounds perfect for her situation, just make sure you get some Boge cartomizers for it if you get one, and not the crappy Kanger regular ones, there is a huge difference in performance.

Yeah KR8 - 2 pieces. Of course you need to get at least 1 extra battery, charger, and a bunch of filled cartos.

I have one of their Platinum color batteries and it's pretty - an almost pearly light gray. And they sell lots of a filled cartos. I prefer their Coolcarts - their Premium ones are pretty hot on the lips.

If you get KR808D-1 cartos elsewhere, I think the Boge ones like the Coolcarts?

Hmm. Nevermind. It just occurred to me that the kr808 would be best. ;-) Seriously, though, where would be the best place to look for it? I'm thinking initial order of 2 batteries, three or four cartos, a pcc, and a pretty decent variety of juices.

Yup,Id get her the V4L XL manual kit.The XLs last a good long time.Also get her to join ECF so she can get help and encouragement.

I'd say the cap (condom) method of refilling might be better for older hands though. Personally I miss a wide mouth drip tip on occasion, and end up with juice ringing the carto threads instead when trying to drip into those. With the cap method you just fill up one of them and push the carto into it. Either end will do but I prefer the battery end since that's where I want the juice anyway. Wipe off the threads afterwards and you're good to go.

The XL manual batteries are the best and get the replacement AC charger as it's screw-in type, the other USB push-pin ones SUCK so bad.

Get her 40 cartoz, fill them for her, and tell her to put the used ones in a box. Go by and fill them once in a while

His stuff is all Kanger though by the looks of it, the chargers in those kits are horrible (screw-in is best), and the Kanger cartomizers fail miserably compared to the premium Boge ones. Best off buying everything seperately from Litecig.
