Need a little help rebuilding Protank heads.

So, I just started rebuilding my protank coils and I thought everything was going well. Got my 32 gauge kanthal, got my cotton, and had some good coils done that all fired and read out to around 2.0 ohms on my Tesla VV Mod. Then, after soaking my wicks and putting them in my Evod tank with my favorite juice, A whole lot of disappointment... They work but they don't even perform as well as the stock coils. Flavor is ok (what there is of it) and the vapor production sucks. After reading all about rebuilding protank heads and watching tons of videos, I was expecting a lot better than this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Albus, I prefer 30g for my PT coils. 32 gets too hot too fast for me. TomCatt's link is what I learned with. Do NOT need very much cotton at all. Just a wisp, about the length and 1/2 the width of my small fingernail. You want the cotton to slide with just the tiniest bit of resistance thru the coil. Practice... You will get there....
