I've been wrapping my coils for a week or so. A good friend gave me a couple of new iClear16s a few weeks ago and today I could no longer get my juice to taste right no matter what I tried. So I removed the duel coils that were originally in it and replaced it with a single coil 1.5ohms. Vapes like a beast now. I seen someone else on here rebuild his iclear16 just for the heck of it so that's where I got the idea. Fricken easy peasy once I seen how it was done. I'm a penny pincher and don't like the idea of having to by new coils for a tankomizer. Now I see that in a matter of minutes I can have my iClear16s back up and running in a matter of a few minutes.

I dunno - coil heads last me about 1 week exactly. I buy them for $1.25 each - that' about $5/month. If I liked tinkering and was looking to do this for a hobby, that would be fine, but I barely have time for the after work/weekend chores as it is, so considering the nominal cost of just buying replacements, I can't see myself ever doing this.

If mine where that cheap I may not bother with it either but I go through a coil head a week also and on my tank my local B&M charges $5 per coil! When I'm very lucky I can get them on-line for $1.80 per coil but that's not always a given. I've been looking into building these bad boys for a while now, just gotta get a few more items and I'll be ready for my first try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!:)
