Hey guys, I need a little help deciding which tank to drop some coin on. I'm gettin a little tired of having to trim down the silicon insulator on all the heads of my Protank 2 just to get a decent loose draw. I was wanting something for a great vapor cloud that wont look hideous on my Provari 2.5, rebuildable, and reliable. Any suggestions?? I was thinking maybe the Aspire nautilus or the Kanger Aero tank, as dual coil seems to be what I'm looking for. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I tried the ProTank 2 on my Provari...didn't work because of not getting any air. Been using a real Vivi Nova 2.5 for the last several months and have been pleased with it. Not too big, top fill, top coil, you can rebuild the coils..only problem is it comes with a plastic tank. Picked up a couple of metal tanks but would prefer glass. Looks good to my (uneducated) eye on the Provari!

I received the Nautilus yesterday and WOW. This thing is a beast. It is LARGE, but I think it looks very cool atop my Sigelei zmax v3. I am definitely glad I purchased it. Love the air vent control. Just saying.

Is the airflow really good on it? Not trying to sound paranoid, but the Provari has a tendency to "choke" airflow on some tanks due to the beauty ring at the top being flush with the 510 connection. I know airflow is needed to help prevent excessive negative pressure in the tank to prevent flooding/gurgling.

have not tried either but Dang i really want to know from someone who has tried both LOL!! im on the fence teetering right now about the nautilus or the aero tank, been hearing some crazy good things about both products just not sure if i want to spend 25 or 35 doll-hairs on it. just need a glass tank for my next order of juices because i dont want those buggahs to crack the damn iClears that i have right now. i know you get what you pay for but both have been getting some great responses and it's only about a 10 dollar difference give or take some change. decisions decisions decisions. it's like the song by borgore ( dubstep if you haven't heard of him. and if you have great song ) i just want to eat the whole cake..

I have not tried the nautilus but to me I just can not see it having that much of a performance increase to justify the cost. As well the cost of replacement coils look to be fairly high.

I also do not care for the Protank3/Aerotank coils. That is a small area inside that head, you need to push some extra voltage through to get good vapor production from the unit. I find that it caramelizes my sweeter juices. This is all on a Provari but YMMV and all that.

I did find that the Aerotank base fixes all air flow issues with the protank 2 on the Provari. You can dial in your prefered draw and vape away. For 5 bux you can keep using your current tank and heads :)

Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank

Thunderball above has a great suggestion as well. I love my Russian 91 on the provari :) I like the lighter Kanger tanks for out and about at work, they are way more pocket friendly.

What about the iclear 30b? I haven't actually tried one yet, but I hear it is more airy than the ProTank2 and it has dual coils. Just a thought.

The Nautilus is fantastic! I have a Russian that works great so I was all but done with stock coil tanks, but since I received the Nautilus for free I thought Id give it a try, and am very pleased. It gives great vapor (comparatively) and I love huge airflow, which it has for sure. If you arent lookin to rebuild then this tank is a winner, but the taste output is still a little better in the russian.

You might be surprised how dense the clouds are with a small chamber single coil drilled cap topper.

I prefer single coil in most applications. Dual and quad coil when I'm just messing around.

Can I get a little more info on that please? Dense clouds... I'm interested!
