hey everyone! big fan of vaping! i know most all about the different brands of e cigs.. and i am looking to the vets on the board to help me out with picking my next e cig.

here are some things that i want/dont want in my next e cig. if you know of a brand that fits it, by all means, please tell me

I am looking for a realistic size for my pv. while i know that egos have battery life and better quality, i would like to keep the size down to that of a 510 or smaller size.

battery life is INCREDIBLY important for my decision, as i am a heavy vaper. whatever has a good batt life in a small size is what i am looking for.

i also want it to be a manual. preferrably with a blue led light at the end of it. it just makes it easier when people try telling me i cant smoke out in public. i dont like red leds.

ive looked at the ones on mad vapes, but if anyone has anything they know of, let me know!

I agree on the Smokeless Image Volt. The Volt is the best mini on the market, in my very biased opinion. I tried four others before settling in with the Volt to help me quit smoking.

I suggest the Standard Starter Kit for those wanting to try the Volt for the first time. They are 808 threaded batteries, but have a huge range of accessories available. There is also an inexpensive 808 to 510 adapter if one really needs to use 510 accessories. The 78mm batteries are worth the extra $1 for about an extra hour in between charge times. It will go 3 to 4 hours of constant vaping (depending upon individual vaping habits) before needing to be recharged. Also, you can get a free third battery from SI if you are willing to post your mugshot using their product down in their sub forum on the Faces of Volt thread.

Also, you get your choice of battery color and led color when ordering your kit. The black batteries can have green, blue, red, purple, orange, or white leds, for example. Some color batteries only have white or blue leds, but some can have purple or green or orange or red, too.

Smokeless Image customer service is also second to none, in my opinion. They go the extra mile for their customers.

While most 'mini' kits are kinda the same as far as battery life, etc. . I do like the Volt. If I were going to replace my mini kit (Blu) then the Volt is what I would replace it with.
Sometimes I just like using the smaller batteries while working on one of the auto's or for stealth vaping as I can use the Blu then put it behind my ear like a pencil, lol

You say that battery life is incredibly important, yet you want a ciggie look-alike. Those two preferences do not go well together. If you would consider an eGo-class battery as part of your arsenal, I have a recommendation for you.

The smokeless image volt is one of the best minis out there. The 78mm battery lasts 3-4 hours. The cartos last a long time, can be refilled several times and don't burn easily. They have a customer service that is second to none and fast shipping as well. They are very reasonably priced with 2 battery starter kits from $45 and there is a 15% off coupon. Here's a video that shows the volt.

Oh man, you just opened a big-ole can of worms.....

I would suggest a eGo, probably a Twist (I usually suggest fixed voltage to a newer user, but for the price....). Reasonable size, and an inexpensive way to play with variable voltage. Good battery life, from what I understand.

Maybe some clearomizers or CE's on top?

I agree, suggest moving up to an eGo battery, or at least 2. They aren't that expensive and they will save in the long run. Just make sure to get genuine eGo batteries. I've had some bad luck at first buying knock offs.

Thus encouraged, but still completely unsolicited .....

I cannot encourage you enough to bypass constant voltage and go straight to variable voltage. VV will let you adjust the temperature of the coil by allowing you to select the voltage sent to it; constant voltage will not. With constant voltage, you pretty much have to find and stick with a particular attachment (atomizer, cartomizer, clearomizer, whatever-o-mizer) of a certain resistance (in ohms). The kGo, Riva, and Joyetech eGo T- and C- batteries are constant voltage; to date, the only eGo-class battery I know of that is variable voltage is the $22 Joyetech eGoC Twist. A simple dial on the bottom lets you adjust the output voltage between 3.2 and 4.8 volts. Wonderful device.

Ohm's law: Watts (heat at the coil) = volts x volts / resistance in ohms; if you can adjust the volts, you can adjust the watts, which often need to be varied toaccommodate different flavors and PG/VG ratios of juices.

PLEASE consider just getting the following, as you explore other options. I have a LOT of stuff, but this is what I use 95% of the time:

Joyetech eGo-C Twist variable voltage battery - 2 x 650mah, 1 x 1000mah
Vivi Nova or Vivi Nova Mini tank/atomizer - couple of each (About $13 each)
Joyetech charger - get two (backup, backup backup) (About $13)
Plain old clear drip tip ($2.99 - what a rip)
Juice (Get 6ml x # of days before you receive another order + 25-50%)
You're done, and ready to explore other options, if necessary.
