Need a resolution ASAP

Ok Should it be the shippers or customers responsibility to check the status of a package if it has not reached the destination after 22 days.

I have called TW's customer service and had several email correspondences tell me to call USPS to find out whats going on. I did not voice my objections to that fearing this was normal business practices.

I just called USPS and am at my wits end. I was on the crappy automated service line for 45 mins tying to enter the bloody label number.

What can you do to resolve this issue. I placed the order on 8/19 and still have not received my package. Multiple attempts to get a resolution to the issue has came with the same two answers

it will be there in 2 days OR call USPS.

I feel its the senders responsibility to ensure the products they sell make it to there customers on a timely basis. At least check them when there is an issue and not tell the customers to do the research.

This has taken entirely to long to resolve.

I see the vendor/forum owner logged in about 5 hours after you begged the question, so I'd like to think they gave you an answer/solution to your question/predicament.

Any chance on getting this resolved today possibly?

once something disappears into the USPS black hole (and it is a black hole) the vendor cant check anything..

all they can do is wait for xxxx time and then send out a new package..

we send many thing into the black hole.. we know how it works.. mostly.. in fact very reliably things pop out the other side and get delivered.. in fact in over a 1000 packages sent into the USPS hole from the UK we have only lost one..

it comes down to how long the vendor waits until he decides the item really is lost and ships out another one.. the fault is with US customs and USPS.. the time factor for them to do their business and deliver the item is so massively variable..

two days to reach the US.. anything from two more days to twenty days for the US side to function and deliver the item.. knowing this all the vendor can do is wait for twenty days to pass.. twenty days isnt the norm but its common enough for the vendor to have to allow for it..

Its possible your emails are bouncing or we would have responded.

Easiest thing is to pick up the phone.. May i ask where the parcel was shipped??

We have a policy that if a package is late being delivered we will not re-send till the 28th day elapses.

This is the postal services recommended route to take.
