Made it through day 2 of a week with my mom without flipping out. :) LOL, the poor lady did not consult us (when does she ever) on inadvisable hotels, and spend her first night in a Red Roof Inn "down by the river" (I suppose here, that would be "down by the wash", which had blood on one pillow case, no towels ("they said they would send some right up! But they didn't arrive until 1215!" she said) and just general grunginess and awfulness.... She was able to check out the next day and find another,:lol:, and stated she was "happy" that "they only charged me $25 for the night."
"Mom, if it were ME, I wouldn't have walked out of there without $200 cash in hand and a signed, notarized statement indicating that they would pay for any treatment of blood and muck or feces related illnesses, honestly."

But I guess that's just me? You now hopefully understand why I was a bit reluctant to loan her my car to save her on travel costs. I swear, I should probably drive HER to the airport, and if I notice vast clutch differences, I may require a signed notarized statement that if my clutch goes in the next year, she will pay for it :lol:.

This is a woman who travels the world, she went to Jerusalem again last year (although to be fair, she came back with some sort of intestinal bug, the kind you catch from drinking bad water/food etc. She's 70, I begin to wonder if altzheimers approaches, but the thing with my mom is you can't tell, because she is infamous for telling people what she thinks they want to hear, then changing her story later and denying all knowledge.... :)

Maybe I should turn her onto nicotinic vaping, her heart seems fine :)

And seriously, it IS nice to see her, that is a fact. My mommy makes me laugh these days, not grind my teeth (mostly).

LOL, out to dinner with the family and my mom managed to drive halfway OFF a curb, not the little ramp or whatever it's called. She bottomed out very badly, and scraped the entire undercarriage of my car.

She did apologize, but I actually said, "Don't you remember when we arraigned the kiddo and when going to get him around the corner I managed to get my car stuck on not ONE but TWO parking barriers (I was so distressed that I just assumed that there was a straight white line and drove forward.

My car was awesome about it, as I was teeter-tottering on top of them, I thought "F this, I want to go HOME," and as it teetered downward, I was able to drive straight over them. Can't really give her grief, for doing something I have done myself. But, I BOW to my WISDOM and lack of ANNOYANCE, LOL.

You know that saying though, "You don't know if you've quit until someone dies?" I think with my mom, the statement may be true but in the opposite direction, because I really, really, really wanted a cigarette at that moment. :)

I have epilepsy. I haven't had a seizure in 184 days. There are a lot more things that make me unhappy rather than happy, but not waking up on the floor or ground for 6 months with a gash in my head makes me very happy. The fact that I quit smoking cigarettes 3 years ago makes me happy too. I'm 50, and if I make it to the point where I can say, "I've been vaping longer than I smoked.", that'll make me happy beyond words.

Went shopping on Monday. How many times does it happen you cruise through green lights? I'll tell ya... almost all of them  that made my day :D

On Wednesday, I picked up my nephew from school, it was an early release for Christmas break or the pc way "Winter Break" o_O Took him to a pizza parlor in a small town up north from were I live. Almost all the tables had people sitting at them and a few tables needed to be cleaned off. Went to the counter and placed an order, nephew took a seat at a table. I went around and cleaned off the tables for the only gal who was taking orders, being cashier, waitress, and cleaning tables. After we finished eating, the one n all gal gave me two free cookies :)...of course...I gave them to my nephew. So, I was happy twice that day being with my nephew and getting free cookies :2cool:

Was walking out of a store today, a little boy around five-six years old was walking into the store with his dad. Looked up and with a big grin said "Hello." I asked him "How are you?" He mumbled something and the dad replied "He is shy." But, in that moment of time when the little boy said Hello, made me happy. 'Cause the moments leading up to the little boy walking into the store was not so pleasant.
