Gotta admit antique is unique... and a hybrid. Love unusual mixes, genre mashups, anything new, blended, or different...

I was wondering who would be the first person to post a Beats Antique track :p

I used to DJ a bit at a local Hookah Lounge. The Belly Dancers always danced to the Beats Antique tracks I played for them.

Well here try this, if you're in a funky oldschool mood with a splash of everything.

This one took me several years to compile all the tracks for this set. I have a bunch of older biker friends that could never wrap their head around exactly what I did. Anyways we jammed the hell out of this at our camp at bike week and it went over ok with the older crowd. I love classic rock so I did a remix set with all high energy house and progressive.

Some of you guys might get a kick out of this... It's kind of poking fun at some of the currently "big" DJs and their gimmicks that helped them achieve supestardom.

For anyone that has no clue what I'm talking about, in order of appearance, look up a DJ BL3ND mix on Youtube, followed by Krewella, followed by any Deadmau5 UStream rant, followed by 'Harlem Shake'.

Folks, once again, THIS is Trance. Try and listen to this song without feeling uplifted and happy, I dare you! THIS is how you do a drop. Not all this new "Big Room" nonsense with a single kick drum and one synth with a ton of reverb. This is what my live sets feel like.

Popov is a brilliant, brilliant man.
