I need a nice strong tasting "cig like" morning vape with coffee to slap me across the face, something with no caramel or much sweetness. It would be nice if it had a high VG ratio since I really prefer that (the PG is kind of irritating and scratchy feeling). I love the velvety mouth feel of VG.

I'm thinking maybe one of these:

Do More from Vaporus - supposed to taste like a Du Maurier cigarette
(by the way has anyone tried the "Philosopher's Stone and the 7 Deadly Sins" line they have?

Torque 56 from Halo - "unfiltered tobacco flavor and serious throat hit. Torque56 e-liquid is for those that want real tobacco flavor without a lot of complex nuances to cloud the taste. Knock your socks off with Torque56 e-liquid."

Hump Back from Quick Nic - comes in 100% VG! "This is QNJ naturally extracted tobacco flavor, made from a Turkish Tobacco. "

Dunhill from MyFreedomSmokes - supposed to taste like a Dunhill red pack

Voodoo from Halo - Might work, maybe too mild though. "a mild tobacco base gently layered with a complex assortment of flavors including black currant, grape, plum, and a touch of cinnamon. This unique e-liquid flavor is then rounded out with subtle notes of smooth vanilla, offering a delicate balance of tobacco with gourmet flavors. The unique structure of this e-liquid flavor will vary in profile while vaping, hence the voodoo effect."

Malty from Back Woods Brew - 70% VG. Even though it's not what I described needing, it just sounds so satisfying...!
"Malty is truly an original. It is probably the most challenging vape to describe because it does not have any obvious or easily discernible flavor. Malty is slightly sweeter and thicker than our other brews. It gives a moderate throat hit and produces tons of thick vapor. In many ways, Malty provides much of the satisfaction that a real cigarette used to give you. The best thing about Malty is that is smells and tastes fantastic. Malty is one of our "must try" liquids. It's great on its own or as a mixer with other liquids to give them more body, texture and vapor."

Smoke from Back Woods Brew - "A totally different tobacco taste with some really nice smokey nuances. This one is hardcore in flavor, aroma and throat hit!" Reviewer says, "I have to say that I searched a long time, from back in 2009 when I started vaping, to find my all day vape and this is it! If you are trying to find a true tobacco flavor than the wait is over. Just order this lquid and let it steep for a week or two. You will not be disappointed."

Cocoa Blend from
Ahlusion - available in 70% VG. "A mellow but distinctive blend based on a dark and light Virginia mix, Burley and aromatic Cocoa." " WARNING: Do not get this or ANY Premium blend available on Ahlusion if you're expecting yet another flavored "tobacco"! These are bold and uncompromising blends! Our Premium blends are not for the casual "tobacco" vaper. Unlike our other tobacco flavors which are sweeter (Cavendish - sweet and mild), the tobaccos used in our aromatic tobacco blends are processed differently and as such this is not as sweet but also stronger in tobacco flavor.

decisions, decisions...they all sound so good, has anyone tried them?

I just ordered an MVP 2.0 so I'm hoping for some kick ... hits here! I've been having a hard time tasting things lately

Halo's Voodoo is listed under their tobacoo blends, but it's probably not what you are looking for. It's one of my ADV's and it's predominantly got a sort of peculiar (but really enjoyable) flavor that is akin to white grape and some other mild backnotes. Tribeca or Torque are better Halo options.

Ahlusion Smooth Criminal is pretty good as well and is another straight cig-like flavor. 50/50 blend I believe, and a little harder on your atty's than the Halo alternatives, but sounds a bit closer to what you are looking for. I am not familiar with the other juices.

I haven't tried any of the ones you mention, although some sound really good (and Cocoa Blend is actually in my shopping cart as I write this)! I wanted to weigh in though that Smooth Criminal is very sweet to me. Supposedly it takes a long time to steep. Mine was the XPress version and I've had it about 2 months, so I do not know if it ever gets past it. I think it's still a very light tobacco every time I drip it to check.

I have the same issue as you -- wanting that strong dirty punch with my coffee in the morning. I still haven't come across exactly what I'm looking for, but Pirate's Booty from Heather's Heavenly Vapes came the closest I've found in a tobacco vape. I would also recommend trying a strong coffee flavor like Ahlusion's Kona Kick or even a minty flavor.

Ahlusion Smooth Criminal sounds good, I just looked at the description, and high VG too, thanks!

I guess maybe I could consider something with like a peach note in it too or coconut as long as it had a strong cig taste to go with it maybe

depends how much a tobacco you can handle

the peachy criminal would be like a medium strength tobacco most can handle
the aromatic sweet Georgia peach is a very strong tobacco
can handle an aggressive tobacco its very very good but many will not appreciate that strong of a tobacco

Ahlusion makes good stuff from what I hear, but I just can't bring myself to pay a dollar a mL.....

Vermillion Kentucky blend is great, but may be too sweet for you..

yea I was taken back by that too at first
but after the first order you get a 15% coupon
you also can ask for sample on any order over $20 (but check to make sure its not listed as not avail for sample)

plus 30 and 60Ml options are not expensive

my average order is 120 ml for just over $50 shipped

Dark Horse from Heather's Heavenly Vapes -- 100% VG from a VG base. Straight up cigalike. Huntsman is Dark Horse's big cousin with some honey/mossy/maple tones and very, very tasty!

You might also try Big Spirit from Naturally Extracted Tobacco.com which also comes in 100% VG. Gold is listed under Pipe Tobaccos, but is a nice slightly sweet blend, as well as the Black Cavendish.

HALO liquids are all high PG, so you'll probably stay clear of them.

Hump Back from Quic Nic is indeed a nice, dry Turkish Blend. Godz'nilla has just a slight sweetness (vanilla) and is very tasty as well. Most of QuickNic's NETs are lighter in sweetness but big on flavor.

120ml for just over $50 isn't bad at all. Thanks for pointing that out. I've been wanting to try them but the price puts me off everytime. That helps :)

Imho -- I think in whatever flavor you decide to go with ... the answer lies in nicotine content. I think what you are looking for is a larger ingestion of the affects of nicotine for your morning.
I was surprised to see this post -- its currently my only analog during the course of the day -- need that regular cig/coffee/paper -- and if I may politely mention -- on the "porcelain throne" ... Seriously :)

I haven't tried most of the juices in the list, but I can vouch for Halo Torque56. My first experience with it left me feeling like I was standing in an outside smoking area puffing on a Marlboro. Smooth, but full of the tobacco notes. Even if it's not your favorite you'll want it around for those times when you want something good and different.

They sell a tobacco sampler that contains six 6ml bottles for $24.95 (when I bought it). That's 36ml of juice and most are good or at least good enough to be vapable when you want something different. I found no throwaways in the sampler.

So what have you tried so far that didn't work for you? Just curious...

I have a few pretty strong coffees that I like but I just really am missing the punch of that morning cig lately...

Big Spirit Tobacco from Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com. Hands down the closest thing to a cig I have tried, and I have tried a ton.

I checked it out and this certainly sounds like what I am looking for, I'm definately gonna try this one! I've never had a NET juice yet either so I'm curious to see about that.

One question, does it need to steep and if so for how long?

I have recently broke down and been having a cig first thing in the morning too, I guess that's not so bad but I'd like to be cig-free.
I figured that I'd go for a 24mg in whatever I try in the cig flavor varieties.
