I finally went to the local B & M where I live that opened up at the end of last year. They had a decent selection of mods, vv/vw devices, various toppers, rda's and rba's. It was nothing special, but they had reasonable prices and a decent selection. While I was talking to the girl working there and trying some juices another customer came in looking to quit smoking, the girl working was helpful and some what knowledgeable. But she wasn't answering the customers questions, and asked me if I had any knowledge and could answer his question. The customer and I started talking, and he started asking me the questions that he should of been asking the employee who worked there. I could see the employee getting a little impatient with me and a little resentful. After noticing this I backed off, and tried to mind my own business, but the customer kept asking me his questions when the employee could not explain what he was asking. The employee( who happened to be the owner) could not close the deal and wasn't much of a salesman. I was happy to help, but don't want to step on any toes. I told the customer what he should get to start, and then made a quiet exit from the shop. I would like to see the shop succeed and grow, but without good sales associates I don't see it happening. How would you handle a situation like that and what should I say to the owner on my next visit ?
