Need advice for Xmas shopping

I am already starting my Christmas shopping, and there are two people on my list that I want to buy an e cig for. They are both really close friends that smoke A LOT. I'm thinking about buyin each of tham a battery, a cartomizer, and a bottle of liquid. The main problem is the cost. With so many people on my list I can't afford to buy each of them a $40 kit. What are some cheap but good batteries? Also, one of them smokes marlboro smooths and the other smokes camel crushes. Does anyone know any liquids that closely resemble their tastes? Any and all help is welcome thanks!!!!

Nice little kit.. it says he thinks they are 5v!! That has to be wrong! They'd last what.. 5-10 minutes at that voltage?

Most newbies want a small cigarette-clone model that looks, works and tastes like a tobacco cig. That means something like a 510 or KR808 auto model with a choice of tobacco cartomizers. Cartomizers (cartos) are hassle-free so they are best for new users.

After a month or two, many find the tiny batteries are a pain and start looking for bigger units, and with a manual switch as it's better. But a safe buy for newcomers is a small auto model, as they run a mile from the bigger jobs that oldtimers use.

Thanks for the info guys!!! One of my friends really likes my k-go (whenever he comes over, I tend to find myself refilling over and over!!) But my other friend probably would like the small cigarette sized one more. Anyone have any opinions on the smooth or crush flavor liquids?

Well, Taste is subjective, but the best smooth type flavor to me is cool mint menthol tobacco from viking vapors. I like to add a few drops of vanilla to it and to me its spot on. I also like want2vapes mystical menthol, but that is just a very clean and cool menthol-y vape.

If you're not sure which way they'll go, MadVapes has a "disposable" kit for 10 bucks. It's actually a regular 510 battery along with a USB charger, atty and carts. So the battery is technically only rated for a few uses, but a lot of people report they get fairly long lifespans out of the thing.
