Okay, so I am ordering the 510 starter kit from cignot and it comes with two sample bottles. I currently smoke Marlboro Virginia Blends (don't know if they only have them in Virginia or not) and I want one of the samples to at least be somewhat similar to that. The choices are Joye 5ml tobacco, PG Marlboro 5mL, PG cappucino, Joye RY4 5 mL, EcoPure 3 mL Fresh, Ecopure 3mL regular, Ecopure 3mL Krystal, and Ecopure 3mL Rich. If anyone has any experience with these, and could point me in the right direction, that'd be great, because I'm trying to order these tonight. Also what is a passthru? I know this has probably been asked, but I figured I could kill two birds with one thread.

I love the vg winston and vg camel from cignot they are my favorites so far.
The pepsi-cola doesn't suit me.
The usb passthrough uses power from the usb port to power the ecig with a battery buffer so it don't blow the port.
You are tied to a cord to use it.
I thought about getting one for when im at my computer.

The gals at Cignot are awesome. I have the marlboro,cigar and dunhill 0nic VG and 26mg Flavorless PG. I did this so I could mix my own juice in 18mg nic. For me, the VG is smoother in taste. The PG is slightly sweet. I mixed the 26mg PG with some Lorann's Rootbeer and Sassafras and it's my favorite right now.
As for trying to find a flavor that imitates an actual analog, i.e. Marlboro, Camels etc. I have yet to find it. If you think about it, an analog has all that other crap in it that contributes to it's taste. You won't find that in an e-cig - not enough chemicals.
I also have a passthrough and love it! I can sit at the computer and vape away - no changing out batteries. Just top off my cart and I'm good to go.

For me Strong Cuban Tobacco flavor from BestEciggy.com has been the closest to "analog" for me. I was a Marlboro light 100 (1 &1/2 pack a day smoker) It's not really the flavor (which is really smokey) that does it for me but the good harsh throat hit. It gives that burn/tingle on the tongue/back of the throat for me. (BTW it's 24 mg). NOTE: I got the 10 flavor for $10 sampler from them but so far only like about 3 of the 10 flavors-2 still to try but 5 were bleh).

Basically, if you at an operating computer you can run your PV off a passthrough INSEAD of off of one of the regular batteries. Passthrough batteries are connected to a wire that attach directly to a computer port. They cannot be used independently.

Joye Tobacco- I think this is what comes in the prefilled carts. It's pretty alright, and it at least smells like tobacco. If you absolutely have to have tobacco flavor this is probably your best bet out of these choices.
PG Marlboro- similar to the above but sweeter. Pretty popular as far as tobacco flavors go, but that may be because it's just what everyone orders at first.
PG cappuccino- I personally don't like this one. Tastes nothing like a cappuccino and has no tobacco flavor to it at all. It's perfumy and frankly gross IMHO.
Joye RY4- very sweet caramel and vanilla flavor. some say it's like warm sugar or cotton candy. An ECF favorite. Some ry4 has a hint of tobacco.
None of the Ecopure taste much like tobacco- but that's honestly a very good thing! In my opinion they are simply the best out there. They have a very clean flavor that vapes beautifully and never tastes chemically or perfumy like the others you listed. The flavors are subtle though so you'll want to try other juice as well.
EcoPure Fresh - a very light flavor. slightly minty. super clean.
Ecopure regular - if any of them taste tobacco-ish at all its this one, but not much. Just a very neutral flavor.
Ecopure Krystal- totally non-flavored and it's meant for mixing: its 36mg only. way too high for a beginner. I'd pass on this for now.
Ecopure Rich- this is my personal favorite. Very much like RY4 to me- sweet caramel vanilla candy like flavor. Pretty popular around here. Get this if you like sweeter flavors.
