Welcome! I'm another Okie.

JCnewbie beat me to mentioning Vapor Kings. He doesn't have a lot of juices, but I go through him for some parts and such, and if you order before 2pm, you'll have it the next day. His website is Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more!

The 510 atomizer is one of the favorites that I've seen, but nobody, and I mean nobody, likes the stock batteries. They are horrible.

For my juice I use E-Cig Super Store | Compare Prices On E Cig Starter Kits I've been getting juice from them for a year and have absolutely no complaints. They are very friendly and quick to respond to emails, will answer the phone anytime day or night, and have been the only vendor to send me a Christmas card! Heck, they even usually include a handwritten thank you note with the order, sometimes along with empty 3ml juice bottles and such that they know I like to use. They have a great selection of juice at good prices, and if I order say, early on a Monday, I typically have the juice in my hand on Wednesday, so thumbs up to them for getting things shipped quickly and to usps for actually getting it here.

One potential problem I see is that you apparently only got 100% VG juice.
Most people like mixtures of PG/VG with PG being more popular.

I personally like an 80/20 mix of PG to VG.

@Sue: Wyatt Earp? What on earth does THAT taste like? LOL
I don't know how many will agree with me, but I will go to my grave swearing that it tastes a bit like jalapeno.
And although I really like it a lot, I go with their RY4 instead because it has the same flavor but not quite as strong.

Hi and Welcome! I also went 9 years without smoking until I was hit by a car and had my knee crushed and my ankle shattered on both sides. That pain drove me back to smoking for a number of years. I have been vaping for a year and a half and still smoke 2 or 3 cigs a day. I am tapering them out, I hope.

Here is what no one had said yet. Buy more atties Now. You are bound to burn one out or up to the point where it either tastes too bad to vape or dies altogether. Never ever get down to your last atty. It's the one thing you can't improvise. They also can go out without warning. Usually, you'll see the battery getting weaker or your juice getting lower in the bottle, but atties can fool you. You can be vaping along, and it goes cold on you suddenly even with a new battery. You reach for your back up atty, and (horrible screeching music in the background), discover that it is DOA. Never get down to your last atty.

We have a couple of regular members here from OK City, but I can't remember who they are at this minute. Perhaps someone else will think of them or it will come to me later. One of my best friends lives in OK City, so I have been there many times. I don't think you are going to find much in the way of ejuice there or parts either; and if you do, they will not be the quality or the price you want. That last part is reality almost everywhere.

Cignot is great and Vicki gives top notch customer service. When you go back to her site to order more atties (3 for $25 last time I checked), check out the Ecopure juice. Personally, I like Fresh, but you might want to try out both fresh and rich. You can get 5ml bottles at $5 each to try them out. I also like to carry these small round bottles around with me and have refilled them many times from larger bottles.

Here is another reason to get different color batteries or LEDs. Batteries age differently, and you will find that some batteries are stronger than others in a few months. You will want to be able to tell the difference so you know which ones to replace and which ones to depend on when you are going out.

So far, you have done everything right. We are just suggesting things to help you progress in as smooth a way as possible. Everyone is just suggesting their personal favorites for juice so I will add mine. Before you need juice, go to Alien Visions (Alien Visions E-Juice) and order Boba's Bounty for a tobacco flavor and order Strawberry Cooler for a non-tobacco flavor. They are 100% VG, which I need, and produce tons of vapor and the flavors are great. If you hate them, lots of people will buy the Boba's from you, and you should PM me about the strawberry cooler (my personal favorite).

Good luck. If you decide you like VG juice and have any questions about it, feel free to PM me. It's all I can use so I have learned lots about it. Oh, and the 24 mg choice was a good one. I started lower but had to move up to get away from the cigs (most of the time).

I would recommend order 30ml of American made e- juice within the next day or 2 that should get you thru another 2 weeks. The 19ml you ordered should last 1- 1 /2 weeks as long as you like the flavor. For tobacco flavors I recommend BackWoods Brew or Vaperite organic line. For desert flavors Ms Ts Bakery Essentials Inc. - Flavors for the Electronic Cigarette. E-Juice for the e-cig or and for fruit flavors VaporBomb.com. If you want to order a variety of types of flavors then go to FreedomSmokeUSA they are above average in all categories but I don't feel they excel at any one category. Just my opinion you will develop your own favorites over time. Also I would let my 1st order of American juice sit for about a week before trying if you are patient enough and have enough left from your initial order.

Webguy,

One more thing. Get your post count up to 15 so you can post in other forums (I hope that is still the limit), and then go to the social groups forums. There is an Okie Vapers forum which you can join. I'm sure that if you join and introduce yourself you will find folks from OK City as well as other parts of OK who can tell you more about any local suppliers.

Awesome! Cignots a great choice, 510s a great choice... you're on your way.

But you really are going to want more juice. Nothing wrong with the tobacco flavored ones, six month later and I still prefer the tobacco and menthol flavors. Looks like you have 5 cartomizers and 9mL of juice coming, yes? That'll probably last you about a week MAX. Most of us go through about 3mL per day, so RIGHT NOW go online and get some more. You'll probably want about 30mL to start.

I hear fsusa is good and you can get a bunch of samples to try: FreedomSmokeUSA

Good Luck!

I ordered 120mL of RY4 from Freedom Smoke USA today (coupon code for 10% off is FREEDOMSMOKEUSA, by the way). I really liked the first 30ml bottle I went through (and the 30ml bottle of Apple that I mixed with the RY4) in the last couple of weeks and have decided it will be my main liquid. I'll be testing some other fruits I received Saturday from VaporRenu. Just wanted to mention that the THs, vapor, and flavor from VR (so far) is about 50% to 60% of what I get from the liquids at FSUSA. (And I ordered 24mg Super, Aggressive THs, 100% PG, and double shots, but adding Glycerin (VG) to any of the six liquids I bought results in no throat hits at all). Jason at VR offered to let me return the six bottles for a complete refund, but I'll probably keep them and use them up a little at a time. Also, VR's Re(4)Nu is supposed to be the same as RY4, but there's just a little hint of caramel taste and it's nothing like the RY4 from FSUSA.

I have tried a few different RY4s and they are supposed to taste like tobacco with hints of vanilla and caramel.

The FreedomSmokeUSA RY4 tastes nothing like what real RY4 is supposed to taste like.
Having said that, I really liked it anyway, and bought more of it.
:)

At the risk of sounding like a total n00b. What *exactly* is RY4? And while we're on the subject of juices.... why are some rated at 60mg nicotine instead of the usual 8,12,18,24,30? Wouldn't 60mg be dangerous? What am I missing here?

you are missing the fact that you can take 60mg juice and dilute it with 0mg (cheaper) juice at a ratio of 1:3 and have super-cheap 15mg juice. taa-daa! Instant savings!

... and what's RY4? Yummy! (who the heck knows, but it tastes good)

Thanks Rosa

Duh!! funny how simple math eludes me sometimes. That makes perfect sense.

Although, by my calculations, I'm gonna be spending about 25% of the amount I used to spend on analogs so long as I don't go overboard buying a ton of gear I don't need.

I understand the concept of having multiple batts and attys, but with the deals out there, can't I expect to spend about $50-$75 per month for all the juice and necessities I will need? (1 POD/ML smoker)

Yeah, it'll probably be less expensive no matter how you slice it - once you find your perfect vape that is... But there are ways to make it even MORE inexpensive.. like dripping and DIY juice. I know of folks here who can spend less than $20 a month in supplies.

Estimated expenses for me (necessities only, not "toys" or new models):
Hardware:
$15 to the eGo Battery replacement/charger replacement/miscellaneous doodad fund...
$20 for attys/cartomizers...

Software:
About $50 (if premade) or $30 (if I DIY, which I do) for juice. But then I vape A LOT. So yeah, $65-85 is a good ballpark for a heavy vaper. YMMV. Beats the hell out of the $200+ per month I was spending on analogs, eh?

Of course, I really don't pay attention to it... I just order what I want/need as it comes up. You'll probably spend more at first, just getting "stocked up", and then slow down for a while. I really don't "need" to buy any juice for about 3 months, and I've got attys to last me about 6. Could use some more LR cartomizers though.... Ooooh, TastyVapor has a new flavor out that sounds delicious.... now where's that Visa card.... lol

Edit: A P.S.

Since I already had all this 510 stuff when I "upgraded" to the ego, I didn't need carts, cartos, attys, juice.... so I bought my stuff piecemeal, as spare parts. Ego PT $23.50, Ego 900mah battery $15.50, cones & ego charger about $18 total. Compatible stuff alleviates the need for more expensive "starter" kits.

I guess people can 'go crazy' spending a ton of money on any hobby... even those that don't feed nicotine addictions.

Everyone says I'll be buying an eGo in a month. I am skeptical though. Since I sit in front of a PC all day and I got the USB passthrough, I don't think my batts are gonna get that much of a work out so the sucky batt life shouldn't be THAT big of an issue for me.

...especially with the PCC. I'm often on the road or away from power for a stretch. The 510 with PCC might be all you ever need... but if/when you *do* decide to try out the eGo, all you'll really need is a charger and one battery. You've got everything else already :)

Are you saying the eGo is just a 510 with a honkin' batt?

510 battery = 180 maH (milliamp hours)
standard ego batt = 650 maH
ego batteries are also made in 900 and now 1000 (!) maH.

That's the only difference... attys and carts are the same :) Oh, and you can't put 510 batts on the ego charger, or they go *boom*. Good thing to know.

but you CAN charge an eGo on a 510 charger (with an adapter) it just takes longer to finish charging.
