Hi All,
So I have had my eGo for over a week. I'm using Boge LR cartos, standard ego 650 mah bat, and juice from VV, BWB and Halo. Loving it compared to what I used to vape. I have dripped with the standard ego atty to try flavors and have found that the taste is cleaner than with the use of cartos. I am now considering going to a different level. I sometimes do not have the luxury of dripping when on the move driving or working. I am a chain vaporer. I am looking for an alternative to cartos. I don't quite understand a tank system but it seems like a tank that holds a large amount of juice that will continually feed the atty without the use of polyfill.
What are the pros and cons and any suggestions on purchases?

Also, any suggestions on a differenct atty/drip tip set up for when I am home and can drip?

Finally, any suggestions on moving up from the ego 3.3v to a higher volt bat setup?
Thanks in advance.

I love my provari with a carto tank. Iv tried the ce2 style and they require a lot of messing with to keep working and not tasting bad. Carto tanks keep them wet and make the most of the filler type cartos. I drive for a living and also chain vape and that was the fix for me.. tanks are cheap if you don't want stainless steel and cartos are also cheap.

I am the same way and although I'm Pro at dripping while driving, I decided it was time to get an all-in-one setup. I chose the Reo Grand because I like simple well made devices. I didn't want to stack batteries or have electronics to deal with and this seemed to me like the best way to go. It's arriving today so my review will be incoming but based on the mass amounts of reviews I've seen and the cult following I think it's safe to say I will be very happy.

I will admit I am not interested in the high voltage deal. I can do 6v in the Reo but I'm very satisfied with a true 3.7v device and some 1.5ohm atomizers.

Edit: As far as drip tip / atty combo, I really like the Ikenvape 1.5ohm 510 atty's with the Super-T tip.

I only have experience with 3 tanks.....the Chibi, the Lil Mama, and the M1A1 so this is just based on my limited usage.....

Carto tanks are just a tube with end caps that have a hole in the middle of them. They generally come 3ml, or 3.5 ml which take standard size cartos, ie. Boge 2.0 or 3.0, or 5ml which take a longer carto. Dual coil cartos will also work. You take a plain carto which you can buy with a pre-punched hole in the side, or punch your own hole, and you slide the punched carto into the bottom end cap, thru the tube, and then thru the top end cap. You fill with eliquid, either by syringe, or by pushing the carto down thru the bottom endcap which gives you enough room to fill with a syringe, and then slide the carto back thru the end cap to it's original position. Carto tanks function by keeping the carto wet while vaping from the reservoir of liquid in the tank.......

Carto tanks come inexpensive to lots more expensive. Basically the only difference is personal preference usually based on looks. I've tried Chibi tanks, a Lil Mama SS tank, and the M1A1 tank which has a fill port on the side. Most tanks only leak when you get air pressure from filling in the tube which then pushes the ejuice out thru the battery end.

My favorite tank based on looks is the Lil Mama. Unfortunately, I find it almost impossible for me to fill as the end caps fit the tightest of any carto tank I have tried. Apparently, this is only my problem, everyone else seems to have no problem filling the Lil Mama or Big Daddy tank except me. There is absolutely no sliding around of the carto in the middle of the Lil Mama tank while in use which is a good thing. The M1A1 tank allows the carto to slide around some unless you screw the fill port screw in tight. The Chibi tank is generally filled by a syringe which is run down the edge of the top end cap so you have to be very careful of damaging the endcap which would allow air inside which would result in leaking. I don't remember there being any sliding of the carto inside the tank when using the Chibi tank.

All the tanks work perfectly well when you successfully fill them without any air getting inside the tube, which sometimes can be a hassle............

Check out the Vmod XL @ Vapage.com. it's a bottomfeeder with 9ml capacity. You CAN drip without removing the on-board nicquid resevoir to change-up flavors if you like. Operates on a single 18650 battery for all day and some of tomorrow charge. This mod is very comfy (flat with rounded sides), easy to use, doesn't drip and will go all day for even the chain-est vaper. I have a few mods and haven't touched them hardly since receiving my Vmod XL in Christmas Eve.

Is chain-est a word??
