Hello all. I may have just royaly messed up.

Well, i just got my 500ml of 100mg nic from nude nic, i orderd 6 120ml boston amber bottles and 12 30ml boston bottles. I was so excited to start mixing so i went ahead and broke out the 120ml empty bottles i ordered from amazon, not stopping to thin for one sec that they might need cleaning. I went ahead and broke down my 500ml of nic into 4 120ml bottles and set them aside. I then broke out my 30ml bottles i ordered and since they are clear, the first thing i noticed is how horribly dirty they are. Little fibers and smudges all over them. I remember looking at the 120ml bottles through some light and didnt see anything or i probably would have cleaned them. Anyway, what do you guys think, should i throw it all away and start over, or should i take my chances.

Any suggestions please

I always put new bottles into the dishwasher when I receive them. Since I have no way of knowing where they've been, or in what conditions. Just seems like common sense to me -- if I bought new dishes or glasses at a store, I'd do the same thing.

OP, Do what you conscience tells you. But think about this for a second. would you be un happy about a vendor that broke your nic down too the smaller bottles and
did the same and shipped it out to YOU. One of the cool things about DIY I think is it puts us in charge somewhat. Sure we really have no idea what our vendors do at
there facilities but we do have good faith they are using good manufacturing practice, That is why We choose the suppliers that We choose.

Do you have any idea of the quality or standards of the bottle manufacture? Do they advertise the bottles are food grade ready from shipment? I will go out on a limb and
say NOT!

If they are advertising as such please share the source, I would probably buy from them.

Ok. Thanks for the replys. Ive just been waiting for so long i didnt even really think about it as they are supposed to be new. They look new.

You should be okay... I got a 2-pack of empty ketchup and mustard condiment bottles from WalMart for my PG and VG, and the first thing I do with any new bottles is open the cap, and take a big whiff. If I even get a *slight* smell of plastic, oil, residue, or anything other than clean air, I wash them with antibacterial dish soap, and leave them to dry (paper towels if I need them quick).

With the 100mg/ml though, you're probably not using enough (even at an 18mg mix) to get any odd tastes. Just keep that in mind for any future purchases though :)

Syringes should be fine.

Industrial Use Only is a good CYA usually because of all the stupid stuff idiots can do with a syringe. Then those idiots sue with the stated reason that the label didn't tell them it was stupid. Obviously, stupid usage is not industrial usage.

I just noticed something ells. The syringes i ordered off amazon say "industrial use only" "none sterile" but they came individually wrapped and seem to be nice and clean
Use wisdom. Wash everything well before using the first time. I just use a little dishsoap & hot water first. Rinse well to try & get as much soap & it's smell out. Then a quick swish with alchohol, vodka, or Everclear to cut any remaing soap film, rinse in plain water & set aside to dry. Atty's, you can skip the soap & water & just soak them a few minutes in one of the alcohol's, clean the threads with a soft toothbrush, rinse & let dry. After first use just clean like you would anything else.

That dust could be glass.

Glass would be the least of my worries. No way glass is going to pass through a wick and into the vape chamber then be pulled up through the mouthpiece. Unless you are going to drink your juice or you take lung hitting to a whole other level, I'd be ok with it.
