Hey all, I've been vaping for years and have tried a lot of different juices and hardware. I'm currently enjoying Tasty Vapor flavors and some DIY Flavor Shack stuff as well. I'm vaping out of a Smok X Cube Mini at about 65 watts with a clapton coil atty.
Here's the issue. My primary vape is perfect (blackberry from DIY) and I've had no problems after 6 weeks of vaping on the new mod. I tried a "fruit punch" or similar and noticed that I would get this odd flavor (maybe sweetener?) and the roof of my mouth would feel coated by something. It also produces an odd aftertaste. I came to encounter this a few times with various juices, but never when I went back to blackberry.
Move onto a few weeks ago and I placed an order with Tasty Vapor for a sample pack and some new juices I wanted to try. I believe I added "sweetener" to all of them. When I tried the strawberry lemonade flavor first, I added it to a half full tank that had some blackberry still in it. It tasted great and could taste the citrus right away. Eventually, that weird flavor and mouth coating returned to the point I don't like to vape it anymore. I filled it last night and in a few hours I was tasting it.
Does anyone know what this is? I just dropped $100 on juice I likely won't vape now. I wish I could explain the taste, but it just tastes "sweet", and lingers much longer than the flavor of the juice itself. There are times I run my tongue over the roof of my mouth and taste it again, so I think "something" is there.
Any advice would be appreciated.
