hi, ive a innokin battery vv4 itaste,, I use kanger pro mini tank, I brought my 1st kanger pro mini and works fine, ive my original tank fire at 8.5w and 3.5v and that shows at 1.5ohms, I get a great hit, no probs...
this new tank kanger pro mini same as other but when I put it on the battery I still have it at 8.5w but the v is at 4.3 and the ohms is at 2.2 and this new one I really have to suck hard to get any vape! I don't understand why, its struggling, as soon as I go back to my 1st tanks no probs good hit! between each tank ive not changed my battery setting, how can 2 tanks the same do this, the only difference is I brought them from 2 different places

There are 2 types of Protank minis they look very similar. The Protank 2 mini and the Protank 3 mini. The first one is a single coil usually in the 2 ohm range. The second is a dual coil in the 1.5 ohm range. The Protank 3 mini produces more vapor due to the dual coils and the lower resistance.

Without seeing them, I can't be sure but I think you have one of each.

2.2Ω vs 1.5Ω head.
3.5v / 1.5Ω = 8.1w
4.3v / 2.2Ω = 8.4w
Your power device has to round numbers to display, most aren't accurate enough to sense or read down to .00
8.5w / 1.5Ω = 3.57v
8.5w / 2.2Ω = 4.32v
It takes 3.5 ish volts to power a 1.5Ω head to 8.5 ish watts.
It takes 4.3 ish volts to power a 2.2Ω head to 8.5 ish watts

Stop worrying about the numbers & vape to taste. Adjust w to taste.

If you're talking about a difference in draw / force needed to inhale, there shouldn't be any difference between the different resistance heads, are air holes in the bases the same?

yup, as ive said I brought the 2 kanger pro 3 from 2 different places, the 1st one came and worked fine, it was the 2nd one must of had a different coil in it, as when I put the another coil in that I had from a pack of 5 I brought it now works, ill only buy my tanks from the place I got my first one from now, the tank its self is fine , clearly it was the duel coil that came with the 2nd one that made this huge difference, alls good now, so happy days.
im not going to pretend to know what the top left bit on my innokin battery is (ohms ) or what they mean but I know this I now only set my watts, and the v set them self the ohms stay at 1.5 and im getting a good hit, so apart from the techs of it, I feel I am a happy vapper!! woop woop thanks for all the help peeps
