My "Atty's" keep dying and/or having performance issues on my 510 eGo

The ecig performance is not consistant at all. I can have a few hours of perfect vaping: 1- Clouds of Vape, 2- Nice full Throat hit & 3- Perfect full flavor taste.....

Then it will be gone and I'll mess with it for a few hours trying everying so I can think of to try so I can have my satisfying vape again--eventually for whatever reason I'll get it back--but it takes so long and it's soooo frustrating!

I vape pretty heavily and like a high nic level - 24mg in "thick dark juice" (usually coffee/espresso flavors) that I usually "Drip", so I have to "refresh" and/or "clean" my atty's frequently. I've found what seems like a much safer Cleaning process which I hope will help my atty's last longer.
Spray "Compressed Air" (the can I use to clean my computer) directly into the atty while holding a papertowel under it to catch the dirty liquid- -repeat until liquid on papertowel is clear) Yeah! Though, I don't know if I will eventually need to use a more "Deep-cleaning method" or not. But Wow, it works great, it's so easy to wipe the atty dry and no messy clean up!

But, I desperately need help, I'm totaly LOST!

Could a different atty work better or more consistantly? There's so many different ones, but not very clear information.

I've searched all the sites and read about them all, but I still don't know what to do...

There's the Atty's for the 510's and for the Ego's, LR and Non-LR, 510 Mega or Ego Mega, 510 & Ego T Atomizer's, then there's Cartomizers for both too and Do some atty's work better when using a drip tip?.... Heeeeeeellllllpppppp........

Can anyone possibly make any recommendations for me considering the info I've listed? I would be so very thankful!!!!!

Thank you so much.

This cleaning method can work great...until the air pressure/angle is just right to break the coil wire. This is a relatively common problem with using too much force (air or water) to clean an atty. Way too invasive! I use a polydent soak to clean my attys...12 hours in a solution with the tablet, then hot water flush, but GENTLE flush, to get the residual polydent surfactants out. My attys last many months, and I often vape at 5V. I also have 5 or 6 in rotation at one time, meaning I use one until it is getting sluggish and blowing out doesn't help a lot, then I put it aside and use another one. When I have 5 or 6 to be cleaned I clean them and restart the rotation. I'm actually trying to remember the last atty I had that died on me...I'm still using the ones I used at Christmas time, and a couple of those have been in rotation for well over a year. Not saying you will have this luck, but I think you will certainly kill less attys if you stop using compressed air. Some use PGA for cleaning, but I have had many more die on me after a few alcohol soaks.

OTOH, if they are LR attys, they do tend to die quicker than regular resistance. I only use regular attys, not LRs.

Canned air has a bitterant added - might help the coffee flavor actually :) but not the best thing, imo. I use 151 proof vodka - and have never had a problem with it. Dries quickly - blow it out by mouth and vape away. I'd also make sure you're using Joye 510 attys - they have a metal mesh around the base of the bridge. Some 510's do not have that and I think having the mesh base helps keep the coil wet and lengthens the life of the atomizer. I have some Joye 510's that I've had over a year. Although I'm now vaping eGo mega and eGo-t attys/tank attys, I still have some 510's going but not in constant use. But those attys had plenty of use before the advent of the eGo mega attys.

You might also try the new 510-t atty/tank:

... but if you're using Joye 510 attys - try a different cleaning method - like Kurts or mine. I use 'Galen's 151 proof vodka uncolored unflavored - @$12 and it lasts a long time. I put enough in a sealed glass jar (otherwise it will evaporate quickly) to fully submerge an atty. 15-20 minutes should do it.
