Hi guys,

1 of my crappy Smoketip 808s died and I was thinking of replacing it with a Bloog but I need some help:

1) I want an AUTO that has NO CHANCE of turning on and burning down my place... thought I read that about some bats somewhere...

2) Will it work in my ST charger?

3) Can it be overcharged? The ST is cool because you can't over charge them.

Any bat suggestions will be appreciated...

Thanks!

If you have a SmokeTip then your battery has a lifetime warranty. Just email them and they will send you a claim number. They usually mail out your replacement battery before you send your busted one back. I've done this twice with SmokeTip batteries. Excellent customer service. Just an option. Why not replace it for free? I still love my SmokeTip batteries as a backup or stealth battery.

From what I've read in the Bloog subforum, their batteries should work on your charger. They say it is compatible with other 808 styles. The overcharge protection is built into the battery. The LED on the end lights up when it's charging, and goes out when the charge.

I saw a video with someone aiming a leaf blower at a Bloog style battery and the auto switch didn't activate. They also ran a chainsaw next to it for a noise test, with similar results.

I've tried three types of 808 batteries so far: the Bloog mini 65 mm (have several, love them all and no problems with any of them), a diamond tip mini from V4L which died on us a while back (could have been from the battery getting wet because my fiance thinks she might not have dried the connection end after refilling a cartomizer, and a Volt. Like I said, I love the Bloog Maxx Fusion's, and I love my new Volt. The V4L, well, wasn't crazy about it. It seemed like there was a lot more of an air drag on every puff, it was just kind of weird, didn't like it. All the 808's worked with vvtfth xcgggv
