So I recently switched over to a EMDCC and I love it and about five minutes ago i took my standard Joye 650 EGO bat off of the charger and attached it to my EMDCC and took a nice hit. Waited a little took another hit but when i stopped it kept firing and the light was flashing so i immediately took the cart off a examined both the cart and bat and smelled a slight burn smell. I waited a few minutes and pressed the button on the bat and no light so I decided to plug it into the charger and see if it was completely gone and the charger registers and turns red. Well im not sure if a drop of liquid got into the button because i tried plugging the bat back into that cart and into another atomizer and it fires up before I even have it fully plugged in so its constantly firing.

This is my only bat at the moment ( I know bad idea) and I'm supper bummed has this happened to any of you before and is there something I can do to salvage the battery until I can get a new one shipped out? Thanks for the help :(

buy a new battery and put that one somewhere it can't damage anything like in a plastic bag out on your lawn.

1.5 ohm stuff has the potential to damage mass produced fat battery models. A dozen people will come and say "I vape them all the time with no problem" but that doesn't erase the fact that they CAN damage batteries. I've heard the SLB-made Ego clones may have stronger switch circuitry that can handle the wattage of dual coils.

Guess Im out of luck for now, thanks for the input. Anyone have any links to a good ego battery I should order?
1100mah ego batt's They have a good deal on a starter kit, includes two 1100mah batts, a charger, and some other junk. a friend of mine ordered them a few weeks ago and according to him they are working "beautifully".

i'd suggest going with genuine Joye Ego batteries. the largest capacity they currently make is 1000mah (labelled as "ego-t" batteries, but you can use any 510 attachments with it, including EMDCC's). Cignot.com sells them (as well as 650mah and 900mah), has great prices and *excellent* customer service (they try their darndest to ship out the same day if you order before 2pm, and they use priority mail, so you'll have it in 48hrs).
