Okay, so I'm now finally moved on to IMR batteries and got a little digital multimeter to go along with them. However, this thing (I use that term cause it's so foreign to me) came with directions for use written in Chinese.

There is NO setting for zero, which would be perfect for me (LOL) only green numbers on the V= side, red on the A= side, white on V~, and so forth.......no zero or start here ANYTHING!

Now if the above statement didn't clue you in to I am NOT technical any way, shape, or form maybe the fact that my android phone only rings 3 times before you're sent to voicemail cause I can't find how to up the rings will! How embarrassing is that! LOL

So, any good people here willing to help one ignorant person check the voltage on her IMR batteries? Love ya more than my luggage if you would!:?:

OH YAY!!! Thanks for the picture, Lisa!!! You haven't had your coffee, and I couldn't find my glasses! The V= side I posted about is actually V- with dots like yours. ROFL!!

Only thing I was able to get was that the red lead went on positive and black negative. I know just enough to be dangerous cause I was comparing it to everything else electrical and I know red means positive. LOL

Yeah, got me some new IMR batteries after killing 2 batts. First one got zapped at the beach in the surf. That involved LOSING my Grande in about 3ft of water trying to revive a hammerhead shark that my brother had caught. He wouldn't touch it to get it off the hook, I had to do it for him and there was NO way he'd hold it in the water!

My Grande fell out of my bathing suit top, plopped into the water and was GONE for about 10 minutes! Thank heavens I found it though! The shark came to about the same time I was losing my mind over my GRANDE!!!! ROFL!!! My brother would have been beat about the face and neck if I'd not been able to find my Grande!

Battery and atty was dust! Grande was full of sand and salt water but a quick rinse out, fresh batt and atty and I was good to go!

Now, going to go check my voltage on my IMR's! Ohhhhhh, I sound all technically now! LOL

:D OMG...I think I'd beat my brother just on general principal for that!!!:laugh:

Was so about to! Especially after one of the neighbors hollered and asked was everything okay! My brother responded, "yes, my sister just dropped her *drug* pipe into the water and is trying to find it!" AKKKKKK!

Aw man! Working on Sunday is not good! Hope you get some R&R soon!

Let's see, this past week I've purchased a mini woodvil, a tumbled aluminum Grand, and a black mini. My REO stock was getting slim! Not only did I lose some treasured family members since January, I've lost a few of my REOs. Not lost as in "help I don't know where they are.......I ALWAYS know where my REO's are. :)

I've given several of them away to friends and family members that want to quit smoking but are too lazy to get on the puter and buy one! They're lucky I love them and their health!

The 1.5V and 9V selections at the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock position are intended to be used for checking DC voltages on batteries. I use the 9V setting to check voltages on all my mod batteries.
