Hello all,

My Patriot rda, and awesome Innovape extender cap for the Provari mini, got delivered today. Woot! Ordered from Vapor Labs.
I've only made 2 micro coils so far, a 1.5 single, and 1.1 ohm, for the Russian 91.

What build do you think is appropriate?
I have 28/30 gauge Kanthal, cotton, drill bits, and micro screwdrivers ready and waiting.
Nothing too low for the provari. I don't own a mechanical mod yet. Only this, and a couple innokins.
Keep in mind this is my first rda attempt, so easy/safe micro coil please. thanks!

... hope I posted this in the right spot, figured you all would know. :D

if i recall that build maybe 9 wraps on a 1/16th with that 32 gauge should be right in the range. a dual 28 and getting it in the limits of the provari will be difficult the heat up time will be long. i use the patriot all the time with my porvaris and i run them single coil at 1.8.

actually right now i have single coil twisted 32 gauge 9 wraps on a 1/16 comes in at 1.8 and its amazing.

Was really hoping to check out that dual. But if you say it's not ideal. ... hmmm, maybe I should just try a single coil first.

oops sorry the first build is a dual, 9 wraps is for each coil. sorry. so 18 wraps then total! lol my bad! a provari can run duals just fine. its just tricky to keep it above 1.2 ( my personal low for the precious you can go lower) that would be two 2.4 ohm coils man that is a ton of metal using 28 gauge and would take forever to heat up. i use 28 for duals on my mechs where i can safely sub ohm. 32 will be good for a dualie!!

do you have a multi meter or ohm reader? if you are going to use the provari to test you want to turn the volts all the way down. the prover tests under load so if your build is too low it won't read on the provari. i got in the habit even though i have the means i still like to double check my build on the provari before i call the build complete. have fun great choice i have the same mini and patriot!

ha! Don't think I'll mess with it tonight. I'll give this some thought. .... or maybe I need to buy another mod to accommodate my Patriot. :D
