Need Fizz.....

Hi....Is there some flavor you can add to the DIY sodas to make it seem like it has a fizz to it? Something to give it a "pop".

Personally, i think its all in the brain... theres no fizz ..
that i know of.

I've used TFA Cola and Lorann's Champagne. Nothing works great

I saw a recipe for root beer that added wintergreen and PGA to the root beer flavor. I have not tried it as I have neither. But I thought that it might have been to simulate the fizz.

I saw that somewhere too. Might try a drop of wintergreen with root beer. Ive also seen where ppl have added menthol. Thanks

Almost all of the authent 'root & herb' recipes for real rootbeer include wintergreen leaves - just fyi

Wintergreen is used as a flavoring in real root beer after sassafrass was cut out due to being a carcinogenic. I know in the Code Red Mt. Dew flavor on here someone said the vitamin E in TPA's Mt. Dew extract adds a bubbly feel. Don't know how true this is though.
