Need help asap!!!!

I made my first batch of e juice on Saturday. I used Loranns flavorings and a few capellas. They tasted really good at first, but now they taste good when your first fill the clearomizers but they get this kind of burnt rubber taste every once in a while. It's really bad. What did I do wrong? I did 1ml flavor added 20 drops EM and a 1/8 tsp sweetener and my base for 10ml bottles. I got the premixed vg/pg bases in 12,18,24mg and the bases are food grade. PLEASE HELP!! I'm sure I did something wrong!!!!!

Time to clean your clearo. Which one are ya using?

Its your clearo I'd be willing to bet. Burning rubber? Is there a rubber cap that is sitting to close to the cup/coil? Is it like a CE2 with wicks? Maybe the juice isn't wicking fast enough?

Its a ce4 clearomizer and I gave some of the juice to my mother in law and it did the same to hers. Do you think its the sweetener I used? I was told by a friend to buy some liquid splenda but couldn't find any so I bought, embarassingly enough, fasweet.

It's kinda a skunky sweet taste. It tastes like the flavor then all of a sudden you get a mouthful of yuck!!!! Then i swish it around and you can taste the flavor again. It's weird. The clearomizer I'm using is new. I've bought premixed before trying this. I never had a problem but we only have one vape shop in OKC and they only use PG based e juice. I wanted to try the 50/50 mix because PG hurts my throat, but not sure what's happening!!

I use marshmallow to sweeten with. It seems if I use sucralose, EZ-Sweetz, or anything similar, it leaves a funky taste in my mouth...almost like burnt rubber.

Echo the above. It's not the juice - sounds like you did a good job on that your first time around. Well done - fix up those cartos and enjoy!

Edit: May be not - just saw posts 4-6 - I don't know what fasweet is..........
