NEED HELP- Brand new Boge 510 clear tank making vapor taste like plastic

I just bought a Boge 510 clear tank with two 510-T atomizers and two 280 mAh rechargable batteries yesterday. So far, I am really disappointed with the product. My vanilla e-liquid tastes like warm plastic. I have read other threads on the forum and cannot decide whether the problem (what is causing the bad taste & sort of a warm burning type smell) has to do with primer on the atomizer or whether the problem is actually the clear tank(s). If anyone has any suggestions...I would sincerely appreciate it! Thanks guys!

Ok so you bought the a slim 510-t. You need to blow out the attomizer of all primer liquid. Blow very very hard over and over again. Once you think Its all gone drip some drops of juice into the atty and blow again. Once that's all out, drip a few drops in and put tank back on and vape. If the tatse comes back after 4 or 5 hits your getting dry hits. Dry hits happen when the juice isnt soaking into the wick fast enough. This is a very common problem with a tanks system. Which is why I tell beginners to stay away from them. Buy yourself some boge LR cartos, less fuss and get yourself some ego style batteries.

I feel for you..I got the DSE-901-T Tank Atomizers (~3.0 ohm) with the clear carts to go with them..and they not only get REALLY hot..wow..but yes..they taste burnt right away..I am a newbie..so I don't know if mine are similar to yours..I use mine with..'can't name names here? so it's with a starter kit..the 808 type..they said it would hold more liquid and it does..but with those drawbacks..no good for me. take care all...Lee

Ughh.. i know this thread is old, but my new tank tastes like chemicals too, also vanilla flavor - same vanilla i been using forever. Same tank except this tank is a changeable (CE4+ a/k/a stardust rebuildable). Its so disappointing not only a waste of juice but also a waste of a tank. I cant vape anything that tastes like chemicals. I'd rather smoke analogs, and its been 4 months since I have.

No reason to go back to the stinkies. Have you tried soaking the tank overnight in hot water? I know sometimes my tanks seem to smell like the last liquid that was in there even after a short cleaning.

might be the primer but it should wear off within a couple of vapes, i clean out out my attys with vodka to remove the primer or old juice built up.
