Need help choosing cotton types!

As a heads up though using cotton the first 3 or 4 puffs taste like cotton. Keep squonking it and it will go away and give you a nice clean taste. I only change mine when it gets to gummed up or I change coils or flavors.

I actually hadn't gotten any cotton taste on mine at all, recently (with or without the method outlined below). xD Maybe it aired out.

On a more serious note, I've come to realize that using a super minty juice will cover up any cotton flavors. So when I'm rewicking, I'll drip a few drops of a local juice called "Sub Zero" (like an Altoid... seriously) for the first couple hits and then squonk my chosen juice after that. Works like a charm and no funky cotton taste.

Just rip it to roughly the right size, roll it a bit at the ends, shove one end through the coil, pull the cotton into the coil, trim, vape.

Thanks Chris!! I might just have to try that this weekend. The cheese cloth works great its just really time consuming having to pull all the treads apart. No cotton flavor at all just great juice flavor!!

Just fiddle with the amount of cotton you need - it's basically free material, a cotton ball is enough for, dunno, ten wicks? Twenty?

Yup, cotton balls easier to work with and better vape compared to cheezecloth. Seems to offer more flexibility than cloth and I think cheezcloth is already spun into strands so it doesn't wick as well. bummer cause I have super yupie organic cheezecloth vs basic cvs cotton balls

I use the CVS organic cotton balls just like "Face Meat" posted above (they can be found in the "feminine section" of the store we have here.)

I also use this "worsted" organic cotton yarn/thread. It's more expensive but you get 164 yards so we are still talking about pennies per wick. They have two sizes/widths of the organic variety but I prefer the "worsted":

I think someone told you to do this backwards? Here we are all trying to find the best wick and you went out and found the worst-ed. lol!

HA! Yep; well if you don't try the worst you won't recognize the best. So I decided to ease into it. I went "bad", "worse", "worst" then "worsted!" HA! So now I can recognize and appreciate a really good wick material.
