I actually had the Holter Monitor two different times - of course it didn't happen the entire time I wore it both times! I thought they would think I was going crazy, lol!

I had the opposite happen to me with a nurse. I kept telling her I had PVCs. She steadfastly disagreed. "No sir, you don't." and "If a doctor didn't tell you that you're probably wrong."

Later I got a printout of the EKG and went to her desk. All smiles, all happy, I said, "WOW look at those pauses and blips!!! Those...wait, no...those look like PVCS!!!"

Kind of rotten of me but I was annoyed.

Okay, so most of my shop are vapers and here recently some of them have been having some issues with vaping...3 are complaining of heart issues...Best way to describe it is "mur murs" or beating fast...They heard it was caused by vaping but I don't by that one bit since I am the most senior vaper in the shop and have never experienced anything like that...Thanks in advanced all

They are ingesting too much nicotine- Nicotine is a vaso constrictor (narrows the arteries) as well as a stimulant. 'Beating fast' is called palpitations, most probably because of too much nicotine

How much smoking (analogs) were they doing before they started vaping? if in fact they did QUIT smoking analogs? are they smoking analogs and vaping? If they "heard" it was caused by vaping it sounds like they have some anxiety about it for whatever reasons. I have had heart palpitations after vaping juices with too much PG (among other issues with PG) but I also have had palpitations from stressful and anxiety problems.
I've been smoking up to 2 packs a day for over 40 years and there have been times when smoking a cig reduces anxiety, calms me down for the moment, yet they say nicotine is a stimulant, but it does makes me calmer when I've been stressed.
I've been vaping for 6 months and still sometimes reach for an analog (take a few drags and put it out because they now seem harsh)....yet in all this time I've been vaping, I've not had any "calming" effect after a vaping session. I've tried everywhere from 12 mg nic to 24 mg nic (24 seems too high and harsh). There's something about smoking analogs that I'm not getting from vaping....However, my big benefit is that I don't have smoker's cough anymore. That's reason enough to keep on vaping for me. Just my :2c:

Ok I'm another that's adding to your list.
And I'm certain it is the nicotine....well almost certain.
I'm a hardcore vaper and nic-addict. I can vape 18mg and dip at the same time and generally stop when I get nic-sick (nausea, that green feeling).
I've been vaping my heart out (no pun intended) for 6 months now and vaping hard. 1 ohm coils in RBAs = huge clouds.
So I got into DIY and have been making my own for over a month.
I got some new VG only based nic, made a few bottles...everything is fine.

I go to make a bottle the other day and the syringe plunger needed some lubrication and I had already opened the nic bottle.
I rubbed the plunger in a drop on the edge of the bottle (wearing gloves, btw) and put it in the syringe and all was well but I smelled something.
The nic stunk a little bit. For good or for bad, I sniffed the plunger and my nose tingled pretty badly. I realized it was the nic vapors (this is 100mg nic juice). I sniffed it once more to confirm the stink and went about my business.

5 minutes later I was on the cusp of passing out. My heart wasn't beating properly, light headed...something was wrong..
I staggered down the hall and called for my wife that i was going to pass out. I sat on the bed and the feeling passed but I was scared to death.

Since then, all day long, multiple times a day, particularly when I vape, I get faint, irregular HBs, and this feeling of overpressure in my neck.

I don't have a pressure cuff so I can't confirm the pressure thing but it feels like being blown up full of blood or liquid with strain on my arteries in my neck.

Then it will pass. If I don't vape, it happens far far less frequently.

I've never had any issues like this before until that one episode. I've been very busy, IRL, so I haven't had the time to scour the net about this until now and it's great finding this thread.

I'm going to go cut some of my juice back to 8 mg and see what that does for things.
I've been scared ....less all week and I'm hoping it's something I can remedy myself.

Thanks guys.

Absolutely the nic and is why I alternate between 12mg, mostly in the morning, and 6mg during the day. I even switch to zero. Right... cigarettes didn't do the same since in a 9mg (full flavor) one the body only gets 1mg out of the tar coating the lung. They don't have to throw their high nic juices out. Just buy some plain juice or juice in the same flavor but lower nic and mix them.
