so at first, I had the kanger protank 3. I was having issues with it and read that a lot of other people were too. it wasn't producing a lot of vapor and tasted off, so I decided to buy the aspire nautilus, though it didn't really fix my problems. it was fine for a little while, then it started tasting like I was smoking chemicals (it was bad) and wasn't producing as much vapor still. changing the coils didn't help, so I figured it was the coils causing the issues and I bought new ones. it took away the chemical taste mostly, but I still was just not getting great hits, not as much vapor, the flavor sucked.. idk if it's because of the nautilus or it could very well be the coils I bought - I bought them from a random website and they aren't brand name but I read about them and people said they're just as good as the brand name ones. they were cheaper so I decided I'd try it.. didn't do anything to help. that's when I just gave up on it lol. I love getting nice flavor and a lot of vapor and it just wasn't delivering:(

If you love flavor as I do you should consider upgrading to either RDAs or RTAs.

I use two RTAs the Goblin Mini and the Kayfun Nano. These are completely Rebuildable. Meaning I make and install the coils and wick them with cotton, hemp fibers or Rayon.

I use 26 gauge Kanthal and make 7-8 wraps around the shaft of the little blue screwdriver that comes in so many RDAs or RTAs.

I installed a 7 wrap coil in my Kayfun Nano yesterday and it is rocking at .69 ohms.

Airflow and as long as one does not hit it like sucking a golf ball through a straw, vapor should be there with the nauti. What juice are you using as well? Too high of a vg juice would render slow saturation of the wick to the coil.

I agree I used the Nautilus Mini briefly and thought the flavor was exceptional; but I tired of spending good money on bad coils so I gave it away to Jon.

voltage and wattage are linked, by way of the resistance (ohms) of the coil you are using... 3.4volts on a 1.8ohm coil (standard nautilus coil) would be a snooch under 6.5 watts... i generally just adjust wattage, but works either way... typically, the 'sweet spot' with those coils is from 9-14 watts... so, part of issue may well have been not enough power hitting the coils... so, in the 3.9volts and up range...

I agree. I always keep my battery out of voltage mode and adjust it the power consumption in wattage mode. I seem to have more control over the vapor and fine tune the vapor I want.

your mileage may vary on this... higher voltage/ wattage may have produced better vapor and brought out actual taste of juice - and if the taste WAS actually chemically, then it may have been the juice... is it same juice you are using now also?

Absolutely correct. It is also possible they used food grade of VG and PG instead of USP grade, or the makers of the ejuice had a bad batch.

I DIY my own ejuice and I always get USP grade 99.7% pure.
